Review: In February of 2014, Locally Rank, LLC submitted a marketing proposal to my company, [redacted] International. [redacted] proposed a 6-month contract to "triple or even quadruple" our sales. We agreed upon a monthly fee of $995.00 per month for a 3-month contract. When [redacted] sent over the contract for us to sign, it was showing an initial "one-time investment" of $2495.00, with a monthly fee of $1988.00. When we pointed that error out to him, he sent us a new contract, which showed $995.00 per month for a 3-month period. After that time, we had the option to go on a month-to-month basis at the same rate. $995.00 was debited from our account on 2-28 for the first month, then 3-28, 4-29, and on 6-2 for subsequent months. This was to cover work done for us March through June (4 months). Once they had redesigned our website, we got a grand total of -0- leads from it. [redacted] was totally unprofessional when we voiced our concerns, saying they had done what we contracted them to do. He was verbally abusive to both [redacted] and myself. On 6-24-14, I emailed Mr. [redacted] stating I no longer desired to do business with his company and asking that he not process any more debits on my bank account. Later that same day, I received an email from him stating that $995.00 would be taken from my account in the next few days. I called him and he was adamant that I must pay him for the next month's work, even though I no longer desired any work from his company. Locally Rank very nearly destroyed my business, which has been operating since 1987.Desired Settlement: The desired settlement would be a full refund of $4975.00. In good faith, however, I will compromise for half of that amount ($2487.50), as I realize that there was some work done for our money, even though it was totally incompetent and even detrimental to our company. After we receive certified funds for that amount ($2487.50), we ask that we NEVER be contacted by Locally Rank, [redacted] or any other principals or employees of that company.
