Review: I purchased a smart key from [redacted] in November. The buttons on the smart key stopped working less than 2 months. I was still able to get into my car because of the hidden key. I replaced the battery in the key twice and it didn't help. Another 2 months go by and the key completely stops working. I give [redacted] a call and explain whats been happening over the last few months. He tries to say maybe its my ignition switch or starter. Umm no, its the key. His first language isn't English so I'm not completely sure if he was understanding what I was trying to tell him. I had to repeat myself 3x to him only for him to end up saying that he is refusing to take the job. I'm extremely upset that I paid him $250 for a key to have it stop working less than 5 months later. I asked him why wont he stand by his product he sold me and he says well I can try and look at it for you if you come to the shop.....well ya I cant considering I have no key for my vehicle to get there. He doesn't care.

I get another locksmith to replace the key for another $250. He looks at the old key and says he replaced my key with an after market key case (much lighter than the original key) and just put a chip in there....the plastic on the key itself was so cheap. I was once walking in my house with the key and the key fell out of my hand and the whole thing shattered. Fortunately at that time it still worked. My old key I had fell multiple times and never once broke.

The new key from the 2nd lock smith replaced my crappy key from [redacted] with an original [redacted] key.Desired Settlement: Id like some sort of refund or at least a quality replacement key.
