We run the auto pay cards on the morning of the 5th of every month normally before 10am, we can show receipts from every month showing that to be trueRent is due on the first of every month and we do not give refunds for unused rentThat is spelled out clearly in the contract and gone over at the time of rental as well as our day vacate notesWe ask for a day notes to help prevent this from happening and have reminders posted around the site to help remind our customers of thisWe ask for customers to give us a day vacate notes because we will prorate the first days of a month for those that are moving our but were unable to do so before the first of the monthNo one would of or at least should have told him ‘as long as he was out before the 5th no rent was due.’ He would still owe a prorated amount for the number of days that he used his unitAnd as for the claim that my manager saw him moving out and charged his card to collect extra rent, I have the gate logs showing he did not come in till around noon and he was charged at 10am, besides the fact that we are a storage facility and people mover stuff into and out of there units every day we would not know he was moving out unless he had filled out the vacate slipNow all that being said we do strive to give our customers the best service possible and we would offer a refund for the unused days of the month in this case but we are unable to issue any refund at this timeMrLaran disputed the charge with his credit card compony on 12/two days before he contacted youOnce a charge is disputed we cannot issue a refund until the dispute is resolved witch we are currently working on Please let me know what if any documents you would need to see, I would attach everything but it is not our policy to release any personal information of out tenets
