Much of the wood in my 30+ year old screened in back porch built by the previous owner was badly deterioratedIn addition, a few years ago a total of six (6) raccoons pretty much destroyed the screening over a few weeksI had one estimate given of more than $5,Jim did this job for $3,and all of the wood was replaced with treated lumber and all of the screen was replaced with new tougher screen; plus two new doorsIt looks, and is, greatHe has done other jobs inside the house to accommodate my wife, who uses a walker; grab bars in two bathrooms and in a shower, as well as a ramp in the garage up to the back door
I am very happy to give this review because the Lockhart Construction Company specifically Jim Lockhart has made me a very happy person He has been working on different projects at my home for the past months and I have been ecstatically happy with every single one His prices are reasonable, he brings his integrity to the job and he and his workers are pleasant people to work with I recommend him very highly, actually I would give him stars He goes above and beyond what you expect
I contacted Jim because my door jam had cracked and broken away He came out and took a look, and pointed out a few other things - some that I had previously noticed, and others that I hadn't, but had noticed the symptoms (improper weather stripping, for example)
The price was extremely reasonable, and the quality of the work was top notch He was also very clean, and left no mess behind
I needed a fence put around the lower part of my above-ground pool deckThis fence was put into the ground and not attached to the existing deckI also needed a larger space around the pump area with a gateThere were river rocks put along the entire perimeter of the fence so that no critters could dig their way under the fence & it ALL looks awesome!
Jim and the entire Lockhart team did a fabulous job on my Kitchen remodelEverything looks so beautiful!!!! In addition to my kitchen, they also installed luxury vinyl flooring on my lower level, installed a custom fireplace mantel & wall mounted my TVI can’t say enough great things about the Lockhart teamI will definitely use them again in future projects
