When calling to request to have someone come unlock my keys out of my car, the girl that answered the call said it was a service fee and it can be dollars to open the carSo, I tried to clarify multiple times if they were separate fees I finally said so I would need $cash to open my car? My keys were on the seat - so I just needed it opened Then the tech that came out said it is more expensive for newer cars Mine is a so NOT NEW Literally minutes to open the car - he actually got a call during the process and had them hold - it was that short Then he says your car is new so that is a total of $ Bunch of crap! I felt like I just got suckered I am so mad Do not use this company for any locksmith needs

So, I tried to clarify multiple times if they were separate fees. I finally said so I would need $60.00 cash to open my car? My keys were on the seat - so I just needed it opened. Then the tech that came out said it is more expensive for newer cars. Mine is a 2006 so NOT NEW. Literally 2 minutes to open the car - he actually got a call during the process and had them hold - it was that short. Then he says your car is new so that is a total of $155.00. Bunch of crap! I felt like I just got suckered. I am so mad. Do not use this company for any locksmith needs.

Review: On 8/22/2013, I called Gilbert Locksmith Service at ###-###-#### to fix my front & garage door lock. The company dispatched a locksmith on the same day, who had cell# ###-###-####. The locksmith quoted me $140 to fix two locks including tightening the front door latch handle. He told me to sign the service order before starting any repairs, which I did. He fixed the garage door lock, but could not fix the front door lock claiming that the allen wrench screw was stripped. He said I needed a whole new locking set. I asked how much it would cost & he said it depends on what was in stock. The locksmith left for his warehouse & called me saying it would cost $45-$150. I told him this was out of my budget & to forget it. In the meantime, my handy man was also working in my house & asked to look at the front door lock. He said the allen wrench screw was NOT stripped & fixed it within 2-3 minutes. He also tightened the latch handle. When the locksmith came back, I told him that my handyman fixed the lock & the latch handle. The locksmith said it didn't matter because I still owe him $140 because I signed the service order. I told him that I would not pay for what he didn't fix. I asked for the cost to fix the garage door lock only, but he would not tell me. Instead, he became irate & said I had to pay the entire amount on the service order. I was concerned for my safety & asked him to leave my home as I would resolve this matter directly with Gilbert Locksmith Service. He refused to leave unless I paid the full amount. I asked him his name, but he would not give it to me & demanded that I pay him. I was scared so I paid it to get him to leave my home. Then I called Gilbert Locksmith Service & complained the locksmith 1) tried to scam me into buying a whole new locking set that I didn't need; 2) made me pay for repairing the front door lock & latch handle that he didn't fix, & 3) made me concerned for my safety. They said there's nothing they can do & refused to reimburse me for the fraudulent costDesired Settlement: I want to be properly reimbursed for the repair of the front door lock and latch handle that the locksmith did not fix, but charged me for. Per the service order, he quoted me $140 to fix 3 locks (which was really for fixing 2 locks & tightening a latch handle). Therefore, if you divide the full amount by 3, it equals $46.66 per item. Since the locksmith did not repair two items, I want a refund for at least $93.32. However, I would like a full refund of $140 for undergoing fraudulent conduct.
