I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have accepted that this will not be resolvedI have since learned of several business and managers that have done business with National and they all had pretty much the same storyThey would send cars to them, get the cars back unfixed, so they stopped dealing with themNow that I have learned how bad a reputation National has in the Roanoke area I'm pretty embarrassed for even going thereThey can keep the money, it's already hurt them more than any refund would have Regards, [redacted]

Written below is a reply to complain [redacted] .The allegations by MR [redacted] are entirely untrueWe were forced to call the cops because he began to act irrationally, yelling and videotaping individuals not directly involved in the situationThe police came and we disproved every one of MR [redacted] 's changing claimsHe said that we changed the paperwork detailing his mileage at the date of original work; we were able to verify that this was untrue due to stored paperworkHe said that he was threatened with a weapon; this was also untrue as no such weapon was presentHe claimed that he was physically handled; this was additionally disregarded as there was no evidence and it simply did not happenWe checked the vehicle in question as a courtesy (it was out of warranty)We offered to show MR [redacted] the numbers and undercarriage of the vehicle to verify that the parts were good; however, MrMR [redacted] came to the shop aggressive and we immediately were forced to ask him to leaveThere is simply no responsibility on our part for his aggression and if MrMR [redacted] continues to decry the character of the owner and business, we will pursue further legal matters as these allegations are now approaching character assassination.Thank you, National Alignment and Tire Management

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below This company is not taking the circumstances I was in into consideration at all!!I picked up the vehicle just before 4pm on May 1st, National has a sign on the door that states " Please pick up vehicles by 4pm" this would leave one to think they closed around that time periodI do not get off work until pmWhy would I have reason to think someone would still be there?I took the vehicle to National for them to align it so I didn't have to align itI was under pressure to get the vehicle ready to leave out of state on Sunday the 3rdI did not want to come into work on Saturday the 2nd to do the alignment, I had other things to attend to However the vehicle pulled hard to the right and the steering wheel had to be held in the o'clock position to keep the vehicle tracking straight in the road I took the vehicle into [redacted] and performed the alignment myselfI have all supporting documents and witness's that can attest to thisI did not go to [redacted] to do the alignment to " prove they were wrong" that's child's play.I went to [redacted] to do the alignment for the safety of the family that owned the vehicle. They stated they did the alignment but when I asked for the print outs showing the specifications of the alignment from the alignment machine they could not produce theseWhere I work we provide every customer the alignment print out and keep a copy in the customers folderThis holds true a many shops around town where my friends workHow could you prove you did the work correctly with these printouts. No body has called to speak with me at work or any other place, I left my Work cell phone number with the secretary plus they knew I worked at [redacted] So getting in touch with me should not be an issue. The secretary stated I could not speak with a manager, I could not speak with the owner, I could not see their print outs, no body there could do a refund if they wanted to etc etc the more she talked the more shady that place was sounding.I myself have been employed by [redacted] over years I have achieved Master Tech status in different car lines, ASE master tech in categories , held my Virginia State inspectors license, certified on Hunter alignment racks and certified in PPG automotive paint systemsI am not an amateur when it comes to cars.My service director thought he could settle it but was educated of what kind of business they are after talking with them. This whole thing is ridiculous over such a petty amount of money, it would seem any reputable company would handled this in a professional manor to keep a good name in such a same city.Side note: This is the first company I have come across that does not issue a refund no matter what, Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I rejected the business's response because the statements and misrepresentations coming from them.I do not have a receipt to show, but last year I did have them set the toe adjustment only on my racecar. The charge was $19.00The toe was set this time, but the caster and camber were NOTThe camber was so far away from being correct...it could clearly be seen visuallyThe painted adjustment bolts were untouched. The $charge was for caster, camber and toe adjustments. The truck was taken to another shop two days later, and I received a printout before they worked on it, and one after they worked on it.Now that the second shop actually did the work, those painted caster adjustment bolts are marked up from being handled with wrenches. The alignment was actually performed at the second shop, and everything is great nowCaster, camber and toe are all in spec. They had absolutely no difficulty in setting my caster, camber and resetting the toe.National did NOT do the work they charged me for.National did NOT tell the truth regarding any of this situationAnything short of a full refund from National is unacceptable at this point.Attached to this email is the printout from the second shopThe proof is right there in black and white. Thanks for your help regarding this matter

It has been determined a road hazard (the damage to the tire) and the wheel the tire was on has bends, (that may contribute to air loss) on the wheel edges where the tire bead seatswhile I understand mrs [redacted] frustration, I cant return money for a tire that was damaged that way, I see in her complaint that the "other shop" determined that our shop mounted the tire incorrectly, but offered no proof of thati stand by our experience here and will not "bad mouth" another shop to defend us, or accuse them of anything sin [redacted] ***, owner national alignment and tire

Re: Complaint ID [redacted] Per the complaint received 3/17/is the reply of National Alignment Tire.Mr [redacted] reported in his letter that he has previously received an alignment for $Our standard alignment price for more than years has been $for a front end car alignment and $for front end alignment on a truck, van, etcMr [redacted] may submit proof of a $alignment if he has that information, but that is not an has not been the price of and alignment-for any adjustmethe entire operation of National Alignment and Tire under [redacted] CardFor the alignment on this vehicle, all adjustments possible were made to prevent or minimize tire wearMr [redacted] was informed that the left front tire on the vehicle has the max adjustment possible and we could make no further adjustmentsMr [redacted] was also informed that further adjustments were not neededWe have extended a warranty offer to Mr [redacted] and performed all work to ensure the vehicle received the adjustments needed to prevent tire wearNo further reimbursements will be offered Mr [redacted] became very upset with this report and began yelling over the phone and we were forced to disconnect the line as no resolution appeared possibleRespectfully,Nationally Alignment & Tire, Inc

To whom it may concern,In regards to ID [redacted] , the customer had a strut issue. As struts begin to age, they are less able to support the weight of the vehicle, causing a camber issue. The alignment was completed before and after the struts as was requested and guaranteed. However, the struts did... not completely remove the camber. That is, unfortunately, an issue related to the vehicle, not quality of the work completed at National. We warrantied the alignment as offered. I am unsure what the other company meant by “alignment bolts”, but we did not leave any bolts loose. We also could have completed the camber work with an additional camber kit (at additional cost) as is required when the new strut does not get rid of all of the camber issue. We apologize for the inconvenience, but camber is a vehicle issue, not due to the work we did. Thank you,National Alignment and Tire

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.National Alignment's response is really no surprise to meSwindlers, like national alignment, who go around stealing from people, do not make things right or issue refunds or honor warrantiesBy definition, they are thieves, doing the ethical, moral thing is simply not in their natureThey continue to lie and say facts, absolute facts, are untrue with no ability to back it upI however can! First, they made no reference calling me a "Worthless N-word trying to get something for free" they are hoping ignoring it will make it go awayThis alone shows the level of simply human decencyI have video of *** repeatedly saying he's going to lay me out, several belligerent threatsI showed this to the Roanoke Police CaptainHe and another police officer (who was with him) stated this is not the first time they've dealt with ***My understanding is he's got a bit of reputationAs a side note, his reputation is abysmal with countless bad ratings/reviews with similar issuesI wish I checked before going there! Anyways, I took a picture of my jeep's mileage as of 8/and a picture of my my receipt from National Alignment stating what the odometer isNational Alignment stated I missed the warranty (supposedly mos/6k miles)They then presented a receipt with mileage I did not have in March (thinking I didn't keep the original receipt)Perhaps they simply cannot do simple addition, but you can see the mileage I have and the mileage on my original receipt are within mos/6k milesYet they state I missed the warranty by several thousand milesOnce again, proof of unethical and likely illegal business practices!I stated in my first attempt at getting a refund since they did not do the service they claimed (which is fraud)I will be spending some money on getting the word out about their shady, unethical and illegal business practices, like the website ***This is to prevent other decent Americans from falling victim to their tacticsThey threatened to go after me legally for speaking outHowever they need to be aware that speaking out honestly is not a crimeStating facts cannot be penalized! I'll continue to post factual information regarding their dishonesty, and their attempt at intimidation to make me just go awayI may also contact the IRS/FBI for possible fraud as I have receipts with different mileages on them.I'll ask again for a refund and if they are unwilling to comply, I'll continue to explore various avenues to expose them and their reputation of being dishonest, threatening and involved in potentially illegal business practicesThey have the option to refund me at which point the website *** will come down and I won't push out thousands of ratings/reviews to expose them because I got a refundThey can even have the domain name/website for all I careThis isn't fun for meI don't enjoy spending my money on exposing bad business practicesIf I don't get a refund, I'll consider it theft and will pursue this furtherThat's the only reason I've taken it this far, is because brand new tires do not wear to the metal in months unless someone screws up***, in his heart of hearts, knows thatHe's either not willing to admit he made a mistake or he's actively involved in this sort of businessMistakes happen, and I gave National Alignment the opportunity to make it right, and I didn't even ask them to buy me new tiresEthically, they should have spent the mins to fix it, but they chose not toThis is simply an attempt to collect money they took from me without providing a service or productI request that I am refundedOnce I receive a refund, I will not have any further interest in this matterThe website, webiste ratings, reviews, billboard in Roanoke, will all be taken down/stoppedIf they are unwilling to issue a refund, I'll know this is how they treat people, how they run their business, and I will do everything I can to make the public aware of it.Regards,*** ***

I would like to say also, the Tire that was put on by this other company, had no reason to tell me nothing but the TRUTH They had nothing to lose or gain The other place would had told me that it would have been dangerous to drive on that wheel Instead, I drove my car with the used tire they put on, till April, I had a problem with the other Cooper tire, so I got new tires It's strange, the other shop said nothing about my wheels Im still driving long distance I feel that guy, *** was trying to get over on me So I want what I paid

Sir,We regret these unfortunate circumstances. You did not receive a call from us because webelieved, inaccurately, that you wanted to correspond via the Revdex.com route as the complaint wasdated the same day we spoke. We want to emphasize that you were not denied access to themanager; he was simply out of office at the time. We did speak to your manager and heemphasized that he did not believe our business with him to be compromised.  When wediscussed, in our reply, that no message was left, we were implying that we were not told, at anypoint before your return, that any issues had been found. In regards to the print out, we use amachine called a scuff gauge to measure toe.For the last nearly 30 years, this method has beenused at National to read toe, with adjustments being made by skilled alignment technicians withmore than 25 years of experience. This is a tried and tested method for gauging toe; however, itdoes not give print outs. We work with several businesses who request them, so we use theinformation from the machine to generate printouts, only at request. We understand that you didthe alignment yourself, but we cannot verify these numbers. Most importantly, we don't issuerefunds without seeing the vehicle because of the type of product being paid for as, when yourequest an alignment, labor is the product being utilized. Therefore, we cannot return moneywithout proper cause and a chance to resolve the issue first. We have reviewed the informationyou have sent us, and the numbers for which the toe would have had to been out seemegregiously high. Without deliberate manipulation, we could not have left the numbers in thisplacement. Doing an alignment, or having it done elsewhere, without allowing us to see it beforehand, voids the warranty because there are too many variables. We sincerely apologize for your inconvenience. We strive to be a family friend to thecommunity.-The National Alignment Team

I have accepted that this will not be resolved. I have since learned of several business and managers that have done business with National and they all had pretty much the same story. They would send cars to them, get the cars back
unfixed, so they stopped dealing with them. Now that I have learned how bad a reputation National has in the Roanoke area I'm pretty embarrassed for even going there. They can keep the money, it's already hurt them more than any refund would have.

We received a complaint (ID# [redacted]) on May 7th. The customer came in on Friday, May 1st for a front end alignment. We proceeded to align the vehicle to specification according to the alignment machine we use to align our vehicles. Mr. [redacted] arrived just before 4 pm to pick up the vehicle and...

spoke with our mechanic who explained that the tow was not out significantly, but enough that it had to be aligned. I remained in the office after 4 o’clock. We did not receive any calls or indications, not even by message, until the customer arrived on Monday, stating that it was incorrect. He noted to me that he decided, instead of letting us know about his problem, he wanted to align it and prove we were wrong. While the customer noted that he did the alignment, when I called to speak with him at work, I was told that he did not do the alignments, but did body work. While we would like to be able to refund the customer, we are unable to do so without being given the opportunity to re-check it. Unfortunately, because we were unable to check the work, though we absolutely did the alignment properly, it is not our policy to refund the money. In response to the customer’s assertion that he was told to leave, he was asked to do so because he was not being respectful of the secretary who repeatedly told him she was unable to help him further. Finally, our alignments are guaranteed, money back is not. We are more than happy to assist with correcting any issues, though we actively work at our hardest to avoid this. Without being able to discuss the issue with the customer, there was little we could do.Thank you,The National Alignment & Tire Team

Written below is a reply to complain [redacted].The allegations by MR. [redacted] are entirely untrue. We were forced to call the cops because he began to act irrationally, yelling and videotaping individuals not directly involved in the situation. The police came and we disproved every one of MR....

[redacted]'s changing claims. He said that we changed the paperwork detailing his mileage at the date of original work; we were able to verify that this was untrue due to stored paperwork. He said that he was threatened with a weapon; this was also untrue as no such weapon was present. He claimed that he was physically handled; this was additionally disregarded as there was no evidence and it simply did not happen. We checked the vehicle in question as a courtesy (it was out of warranty). We offered to show MR. [redacted] the numbers and undercarriage of the vehicle to verify that the parts were good; however, Mr. MR. [redacted] came to the shop aggressive and we immediately were forced to ask him to leave. There is simply no responsibility on our part for his aggression and if Mr. MR. [redacted] continues to decry the character of the owner and business, we will pursue further legal matters as these allegations are now approaching character assassination.Thank you, National Alignment and Tire Management

In reply,The customer was informed upon his initial visit that lowered vehicles carried no alignment warranty as it no longer has manufacturer specifications. The vehicle has no factory parts. The alignment at National was adjusted to help compensate for some issues the customer was having, but,...

again, the vehicle was fundamentally changed from manufactures spec. While the manufacturer’s spec can be applied to the vehicle, it will no longer match what the vehicle actually requires with its new parts and lowered condition.A four wheel alignment on any vehicle is $79.95 and, before the customer paid any extra, he was fully informed of this (a visit before the rear was completed). The tech who serviced his vehicle became a full time worker in August, but served part time for several years before this. When the customer called from the second shop, his call was not immediately returned because the manager was not present. When the manager returned, he attempted to clarify to the customer that there was no warranty, but that he would be happy to look it over again. The customer became abusive and began yelling on the phone. His calls, after this, were no longer answered. We apologize for his confusion but, from the outset, he was warned that the vehicle had been fundamentally changed from the manufacturer’s position and an alignment wasn’t guaranteed. Even despite this, when the customer had an issue, he was allowed to come back and free adjustments were made. I sincerely understand the customer’s frustration, unfortunately, little can be assured with a lowered vehicle. The techs went above the call by performing additional work in order to assist the customer. -National Alignment and Tire

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This company is not taking the circumstances I was in into consideration at all!!I picked up the vehicle just before 4pm on May 1st, National has a sign on the door that states " Please pick up vehicles by 4pm" this would leave one to think they closed around that time period. I do not get off work until 5 pm. Why would I have reason to think someone would still be there?I took the vehicle to National for them to align it so I didn't have to align it. I was under pressure to get the vehicle ready to leave out of state on Sunday the 3rd. I did not want to come into work on Saturday the 2nd to do the alignment, I had other things to attend to.  However the vehicle pulled hard to the right and the steering wheel had to be held in the 10 o'clock position to keep the vehicle tracking straight in the road.
I took the vehicle into [redacted] and performed the alignment myself. I have all supporting documents and witness's that can attest to this. I did not go to [redacted] to do the alignment to " prove they were wrong" that's child's play.I went to [redacted] to do the alignment for the safety of the family that owned the vehicle. They stated they did the alignment but when I asked for the print outs showing the specifications of the alignment from the alignment machine they could not produce these. Where I work we provide every customer the alignment print out and keep a copy in the customers folder. This holds true a many shops around town where my friends work. How could you prove you did the work correctly with these printouts. No body has called to speak with me at work or any other place, I left my Work cell phone number with the secretary plus they knew I worked at [redacted]. So getting in touch with me should not be an issue. The secretary stated I could not speak with a manager, I could not speak with the owner, I could not see their print outs, no body there could do a refund if they wanted to etc etc the more she talked the more shady that place was sounding.I myself have been employed by [redacted] over 20 years I have achieved Master Tech status in 3 different car lines, ASE master tech in 16 categories , held my Virginia State inspectors license, certified on Hunter alignment racks and certified in PPG automotive paint systems. I am not an amateur when it comes to cars.My service director thought he could settle it but was educated of what kind of business they are after talking with them. This whole thing is ridiculous over such a petty amount of money, it would seem any reputable company would handled this in a professional manor to keep a good name in such a same city.Side note: This is the first company I have come across that does not issue a refund no matter what,

It has been determined a road hazard (the damage to the tire) and the wheel the tire was on has bends, (that may contribute to air loss) on the wheel edges where the tire bead seats. while I understand   mrs [redacted] frustration, I cant return money for a tire that was damaged that way, I see in...

her complaint that the "other shop" determined that our shop mounted the tire incorrectly, but offered no proof of that. I stand by our experience here and will not "bad mouth" another shop to defend us, or accuse them of anything.      sin. [redacted], owner national alignment and tire

Re:  Complaint ID [redacted]Per the complaint received 3/17/17 is the reply of National Alignment Tire.Mr. [redacted] reported in his letter that he has previously received an alignment for $19. Our standard alignment price for more than 3 years has been $59.95 for a front end car alignment and...

$69.95 for front end alignment on a truck, van, etc.. Mr. [redacted] may submit proof of a $19 alignment if he has that information, but that is not an has not been the price of and alignment-for any adjustment-in the entire operation of National Alignment and Tire under [redacted] Card. For the alignment on this vehicle, all adjustments possible were made to prevent or minimize tire wear. Mr. [redacted] was informed that the left front tire on the vehicle has the max adjustment possible and we could make no further adjustments. Mr. [redacted] was also informed that further adjustments were not needed. We have extended a warranty offer to Mr. [redacted] and performed all work to ensure the vehicle received the adjustments needed to prevent tire wear. No further reimbursements will be offered.  Mr. [redacted] became very upset with this report and began yelling over the phone and we were forced to disconnect the line as no resolution appeared possible. Respectfully,Nationally Alignment & Tire, Inc.
