Review: On May [redacted] 2015, around 3:35pm I walked into Loco wireless to ask for advice whether he could resolve my phone issue. He said it was a screen issue that had to be switched out. I was heading to the gym (which I have proof of) and left my device with the associate. I came back after 3 hours or so and he had replaced the screen twice and there was still an issue. He gave me the phone back with a white temporary screen ( on a black iPhone 5). He told me he would put a black one on the next day. I was okay with that. I left the shop and noticed 30 minutes later that my phone was extremely hot. I was far from the shop and could not return at the moment. ( Since I do live two blocks away). May [redacted]. I later discovered that my battery had decline at an accelerated rate; from 100% to 18% in 20 minutes( without consistent use). I also discovered my rear camera was no longer working. As agreed I was to go back and get my screen switched out after work. I voiced my battery concerns and camera. He said its impossible. He had 5 years of experience and he knew what he was doing. He was fixing my phone and stopping in between to help walk in's. He switched the screen two more times. He wanted to further inspect my phone I refused. I no longer trusted his expertise and wanted my broken screen back along with my funds $65. He said no call back store policy. We called the Police from his store phone. ( That is proof there was a business exchange since he did not give me a receipt & my phone was dissembled.) After much back and forth the Police said they could not force him to give me my funds back, that I would have to file a claim here.May [redacted]. I took my phone to the [redacted] store to get advised. The [redacted] experts determined the cause of my rear camera not working: The phone we discover the damage of the rear camera was caused by unauthorized modifications. Rear camera can no longer be fixed. Resolution: Service Denied - I have an official notice from [redacted]. I have proof I took pictures Monday, May [redacted].Desired Settlement: $300 for a new phone. Since my camera cannot be fixed. This is the number an [redacted] expert said was adequate for the value of an iPhone 5. My phone is functioning well and adequate with the exception of my rear view camera, which is my primary use of the phone. The camera cannot be replaced. It has to be a completely new phone, since the function cannot be fixed.
