To whom it may concern:I certainly regret to hear of such an issue inside my Locos Grill Pub in Columbus, GAI approach every concern as a teachable moment for me and my staff - and certainly this is no lessWe will use this feedback to coach the staff on "best practices" for dealing with such situations going forwardThat said, this is an unfortunate situation that was destined to end in confusion and frustration by all.I have not spoken with the customer, however I have spoken with my staff and feel that I have an accurate understanding as to the situationServer concerns notwithstanding, the crux of the problem came when the customer was presented a bill inclusive of children's meals that were ordered and satisfactory but the customer thought should have been discounted completely based on our "Kids Eat Free" promotion that ended the first of February after having been running for well over a yearThe principal confusion was based on information listed on the website outtoeatwithkids.com as I'm given to understand by my General Manager who did indeed speak with the customer by telephone that eveningFrom that link, you can see that the offer is indeed printed thereAs of this morning I have requested that it be removed, so it may be, in fact, gone by the time you review this responseNonetheless - this is not a website we were not aware existed until this customer brought it to our attention, nor is it one that we manage or paid to advertise such promotionsSadly, this incident was unavoidable because I did not know that there was misinformation on the web and our customer had based their purchases and trip into my establishment based on this out-of-date information. From here, the situation deteriorated and I know hurt feelings were had by allThe matter was settled last night after the customer spoke to my General Manager on the telephone who instructed the Manager on Duty to indeed honor the discount and remove the three kid's meals.I accept this complaint from my customer and apologize for the misunderstanding and frustrationBecause the site is now aware to us, I have taken steps to prevent others from being confused as wellI have also found other sites that have similar misinformation and have taken steps to correct themI hope to regain this customer's business after they understand more fully how this came to pass.Best regards, [redacted] Owner
