Revdex.com: We feel this complaint is unjustified*** ***,I apologize that you had a less than spectacular experience at our restaurant. We work very hard to try and always make dining with us a pleasant experience. We appreciate that you came a long way to visit us. We are blessed to
have people from all over the state, and county, come and eat with usWe are, however, a very small place that only seats or so people at a time. We typically have a wait time of 1-hours for table service. Once seated, your meal service time usually runs minutes to an hour. We prepare and cook everything to order...no burgers or such pre-made and sitting under a heat lamp for hours! For this reason, we started offering the BBQ buffet on busy Saturdays and Sundays so that folks that don't have time to wait or are starving have an option. The BBQ buffet is priced and served the same as our table service BBQ plates: one meat , two meats or three meats and two sides. The serving size of the meat is 3/of a pound to 1/pounds depending on the meats chosen. The sides are an 8oz serving. I know this is more than what most other BBQ places serve for the same price. As you saw, we were extremely busy Sunday with over people on our wait list and we are only open for hours. I understand that you have requested compensation for your wait time. Unfortunately, I am unable to do so. If I refunded everyone that had to wait I would be forced to close my doors. Since you have heard about us from many people, I'm sure they told you we are not a fast restaurant. In almost every review you read, people mention the wait for a table and a wait for their food. Most feel that it is well worth the wait and enjoy the atmosphere, experience and amazing food. I'm sorry that you did not. My husband and I were working all day on Sunday and we were never approached by anyone with a complaintI think your last comment about speaking to management and "they could care less" is completely unfair and untrue. We work very hard to make everyone feel welcome and happy when they leave.Thank you for your time, *** *** *** ***

That is the whole pointI did ask to speak to someoneY'all were so busy that dayMy complaint was NOT that I had to wait an hour I chose thatMy complaint was that my name was never put on the roster after asked if we wanted it to beI said Jerry they never wrote it for some reasonWhen I got up to check a lady in a black top and pants walked up when the girl was telling me my name had been removed because I wanted buffetI asked where was it written to begin with? It was not on there at allA woman in black top and pants walked up not knowing any of the conversation with menus in her hand and said no you wanted buffet it was taken offIt was never wrote on their to begin withShe didn't even apologizeI said now what and the manager lady I assume said you will have to wait againThat is not caringShe could have gotten us inWe had been three an hourBuffet was taking longer than they said as wellBuffet was not worth the moneyWe did not want it my foot was in a brace, they wouldn't let me sit down Unless I ordered buffetI chose to wait but was hoping my name would come up and they never even wrote it and then basically told me to bad you can start over on the wait ad it was a managerThat is NOT CARING.! Like I said IF YOU CARED YOU WOULD OFFER ME SOMETHING TO SHOW YOU CARE ABOUT MY RETURNA appetizer, somethingInstead you choose to say you care but to badI will never be back and will tell all of my friends who have been talking about it and riding down on their bikesof course you don't care you have plenty of business

I did try to talk to someone in black who approached the waiting list line as she walked up and knew nothing about our name on the list she brushed me off by repeating what the girl had just saidI work for the school district in Fort Worth and am a café manager for a high schoolI ma very much into customer serviceif someone a apparent, staff member, parent was unhappy I would do whatever it took to have them come backYou obviously don't careI will never go back
