Service Department is TERRIBLE
The Salesperson Carmine is the best! totally friendly and knowledgeable! went out of his way to make me feel like he appreciated my business, which was purchasing in full a brand new motorcycle with extra warranties and extra accessory parts and clothing on the day I took the bike home. The parts manager Angela is also the best! always friendly and helpful explaining the parts and willing to call a parts sales rep to get you the best possible prices. The finance manager Patrick was very helpful and knowledgeable and made that part of the process as painless as possible. The reason that I would NOT recommend Locomotion Powersports(LP) is the Service department is THE WORST ever. From right after my purchase I felt talked down to, as if they had no patience for my questions which were asked for me to feel safe on my motorcycle. Both the service manager Matt and the assistant manager Adam spoke depreciatively and demeaning. They also charged me for new brake pads and a month later a different mechanic showed me the pads and that they had never been changed. I paid for an extra warranty for wheels and tires and purchased new tires at LP and had them installed by LP for which each wheel required over 9 ounces of balance weights which is way above the manufacturers recommended safety level. The tires caused the wheels to go so far out of line that the bike was badly vibrating at 45 miles per hour, so much so that I was afraid to ride it was so uncomfortable (I have just passed 30,000 miles in just over 3 years so I obviously ride) and they refused to do the work necessary to get the warranty honored. I went to another mechanic and after attempting to true the wheels he put it through insurance (warranty) and both the wheels and tires were covered and replaced. Then recently I called to have the 30,000 mile service done by LP and the service manager Matt said that he "didn't want to do any work on my bike that there always was a problem". In retrospect he did me a favor because I would of been concerned while riding if they had actually performed the work anyhow. Unfortunately for Triumph owners they are the only local Triumph dealer/service place. I spoke with the finance manager a couple weeks ago about my difficulties with the service department and he said he would speak to the owner within a couple days and I have not received any courtesy call from either. Bad business!

This refund was processed. On 7/19/2016 check number [redacted] was issued to Sheffield Financial in the amount of $1,844.00 which represented refund for warranty contract. Sheffield cashed the check on 7/25/16. I have a copy of the canceled check should you require proof.
