The room I have been assigned to move into is infested with bugs and filthyI walked around the kitchen and saw black mold and piles of dust and food filled dishesBalcony door was crumbling dry wallI do not feel comfortable eating or bringing my things into this space because of the fear they will become infested with cockroaches
The management are trying to me to pay the full rent for August but tell me I can not move in until august 15,I have to pay rent elsewhere
Management stated to me they considered they are doing me a favor by trying to me to pay the full months rent so they books could look good because they are not requesting a security deposit, You would get a deposit back, but they requesting un earned money and my parents will not give away there money paying double rent for august we requested a prorated rent till move in date and they have refuse stating we have a least already therefore you have to pay for the time I cant use the apartmentThey have refuse to give me a copy of the paperwork therefore I can not get a guarantor to back me up and I am unemployed therefore I do not qualify for an apartment rental by myself If they are willing to pay for the expense I will incur to stay some where else for the days they will be using the apartment then maybe my parents will he

From the very first day of move in 8-17-18, for my daughter, there have been issuesFirst the apartment was not cleaned for move inIt was dirty, had roaches, smelled of cat urine, and we found marijuana in the kitchenA few days after move in, random men were coming in at all hours with their own keys made for them by other residentThis made my daughter feel very unsafeSupposedly, the locks were changed but this kept happeningAlso, one of the residents was not even a student and the requirements to be a resident there is that you have to be a studentNow there have been shootings in less than a monthOne was in the parking lot right outside my daughters apartment and the other was inside an apartmentWe have since moved all of my daughters belongings out of the apartment because of the unsafe living conditionsWe tried to turn in the keys so we could be done with this place, but they will not allow
Leasing staff have ignored my repeated requests for service and repairsAs well as failed to follow through to make discussed repairs
On May 24th I moved out of my apartment (without breaking a lease) and properly notified the complex I was leaving due to unsafe living situations with a fellow leaseholderOn May 30th, I notified the complex management of a break in into my bedroom by my roommate/fellow leaseholder who has had a documented history of criminal theft as well as other psychological issuesThe office staff assured me maintenance was on their way that day to fix a kicked in door to my bedroom as well as the broken lock on the door; however, when I returned on June 7th, I found the door unfixed and more of my belongings had been rummaged through and stolen I have asked the property management if I can pay off my rent in full and surrender my keys so that they know I no longer have access to the apartment as I'm worried she will continue to forcibly gain entry

offered fee waived for application and processing fees and did not honor once I did not submit a guarantor
