Hello, My name is [redacted] ***I'm the Salon Director of AVBS, and I'm refuting Mr [redacted] complaint based on the following reasons: Information that is factually in error or misleadingNo proof of fault of the salon, based on no evidence supplied and second-hand informationActual customer was at fault, and the result of the service was predicted and warned by the stylist performing the service.1) Factual information in error or misleadingMr [redacted] claimed that he called the salon four times, and that the last call was on 10/25/It was notHer email states that his first three calls were on the 10/20, 10/and 10/The fourth call was on 10/28/17, the day that I respondedHis wife actually confirms those dates in her emailNot once (prior to the 10/28/call) did Mr [redacted] identify himself as being the husband of our former client [redacted] ***In fact, he was indignant about leaving a message other than "call me back," as if he were trying to make a point of NOT telling us his businessWhen asked about it, he responded via email that "we should be smart enough to figure it out on our own." Not once in any correspondence did Mr [redacted] or Mrs [redacted] ask for a refund of servicesOnce we identified on who's behalf Mr [redacted] was calling, we called the "same-day."2) Factual information in error: As you can see by the attached receipt, the extension service is actually for the amount of $The remaining balance is the hair color service that Mrs [redacted] received, of which we've not heard of any dissatisfaction.3) Second hand or unverified information: We were supplied no pictures of the extensions falling out, nor did Mrs [redacted] come in to the salon so that we could view the hairIn fact, as stated above, she chose not to contact us at allWe have no business history with Mr ***, and had no idea who he wasWe have no idea, the extent of the issue with Mrs***' hair.4) Stylist Warning: The extensions were being removed at home by Mrs [redacted] using a "non-professional made-at-home" substance to remove themWe advise that extensions be removed professionally in the salon, or at least by using the proper productThe stylist warned Mrs [redacted] that if she continued to do this, the extensions were likely not going to stay in place, and fall outThis is the whole conversation that started this problem--my stylist was honest with her, and she ( [redacted] ) thought it was rude and inappropriateThen, apparently (we don't know, because we've yet to see them), the extensions did begin to fall out as predictedThis isn't an error on our part if it indeed happenedAs far as another stylist helping, the second stylist was brought in as an assistant because the extensions were coated in the substance that had to be removed and combed through to smooth them outThis is not part of the regular service and Mrs [redacted] was not charged for this.I have more correspondence available, but was unable to attach it to this emailThank you for your consideration of my side of this situationSincerely, [redacted] ***AVBS Salon Director

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
We do accept the complete refund that *** *** has offered. However, we do not accept the request to keep any opinions about this experience to ourselves. Nor do we accept the request to keep any correspondences between ourselves or in this complaint "confidential".We have several reasons for this:1) Freedom of speech - our first amendment2) *** *** asks for this now after he has exposed himself as the type of person he is, the type of business he runs and the type of people that he allows to work there - the public needs to know3) Any stylist talking about customers behind their backs the way *** did about my wife should be completely exposed due to the simple principles of ethics - Customers and potential customers need to know what type of person they are dealing with4) What message would it send to our children, one of which was present during the entire salon visit on 10/18/2017? It would say that our principles and silence can be bought off at a very small price, and we are not those kind of people. Please advise next steps
Sincerely,
*** ***

To whom is concerns,First, as you will see by the screenshot of the emailI submitted a date correction the same day as my initial responseIt is time-stamped, and I will be happy to forward this to Mr*** if he would like to see the originalI mention this because I was accused of being misleading with the truth of dates in my response. Now, having said thatI'm now, finally, understanding what this process isI had assumed it was a mediation with a third-party recommended judgementIt is not, it is simply Mr*** and myself continuing to send heated messages to one-anotherThe one-thing that Mr*** has said that I whole-heartedly agree with, is that this has gotten far out of hand and away from the original core issue, which is Mrs*** satisfaction. If Mrs*** feels that a refund of $will help her feel better about the situation, then I am happy to do soI'm sure Mrand Mrs*** are very nice people, and isn't a problem for us to issue a refund to bring satisfaction to the situationI have no interest in fighting a battle anymore, in order to simply feel "right."We do ask something in return, which is that Mrand Mrs*** please do not post public reviews of the salon by name or anonymously, and/or remove any that they may have postedWe also ask that any communications (emails and attachments) that have taken place between AVBS and themselves, both privately and as a part of this case with the Revdex.com, be kept confidentialWe agree to do the same.Thank you,*** ***AVBS Salon Director
