I am going to have to send all the pictures in a few emails because they are too largeThe first two pictures are of the vanityIt shows that it was not at all what was advertised and described in the invoice, which I will send in another emailIt is made of cheap material like the generic material held up against it in the second pictureIt also does not have the under lip, the hole for the plumbing, and is made from different material and stain as the other two pieces even though they were sold as a set.The pictures of the mirror show that it was damaged in shipping but I believe it was due to poor construction and materialsThe mirror was very heavy and the second picture of the mirror shows how it broke at the corner just from me picking it up out of the boxThe third picture shows how short the screws are and were not sufficent to hold the material togetherIf we had put this on the wall it could have damaged our floors or ourselves.Thank you, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Two of the packages were slightly damaged but I did not want to wait for her to file a claim because she constructed every piece incorrectly and I would have returned them regardlessShe had already shipped the items months later then promised and put our entire bathroom project on hold continuing to make me and my family share a single bathroom since last FebruaryThe vanity was not only made from the wrong materials and stained differently from the other two pieces, it was constructed differently then the picture she used to advertise and she did not make the holes needed for the plumbing like she promised on her invoiceI have since realized that she took her advertising picture from a designer on [redacted] that posted her bathroom remodel design in You can find it at [redacted] The fact that she had to plagiarize someone else's work as her own shows the level of unprofessional craftsmanshipAs far as the mirror goes, thank goodness it was broken when we received it because we wouldn't have been able to see the hardware usedThe nails she used are too short and never would have supported that mirror and frameAlso, the wood was so brittle it broke in half when I picked it up out of the box...this is not ***'s fault eitherThe medice cabinet was not broken by ***It came with one of the stapled panels coming off, a door that doesn't latch, and she used a picture frame wire to hang it on the wallEven though this piece is unusable because of it's poor construction and anything I put in it would fall out she is not willing to refund meAs far as the claim with ***, I sent her pictures of all the items the day I received them and she never asked for more picturesAfter waiting two weeks for her to open the claim with [redacted] I called them myselfThere is only one tracking number for all boxesThey told me there wasn't a claim open so I had to do it myself and sent them pictures and the breakdown of the invoicesI am now once again at a stand still because they cannot proceed further until the Shipper agrees that I can handle the case and she refuses toI knew this would be a process but she does not seem to care how much of my time she waistes and that my family is still at a complete loss and cannot move forward until we are refundedShe needs to send the complete refund of $1,and should feel lucky of [redacted] reimburses her for poorly constructed unusable furnitureI have correspondences, invoices, tracking and claim numbers and pictures of everything described if needed Sincerely, [redacted]

10/27/2017: I would like Ms [redacted] to hold onto the pieces [redacted] absolutely destroyed the pieces I sent her and they are denying claim after claimI have filed claims with them, each of them being deniedSince then, I have obtained an attorney to deal with themOnce this issue gets figured out, I will have [redacted] pay the return shipping for Ms [redacted] to send the pieces back to me.11/8/2017: Mediator called business to relay Ms [redacted] 's request but was unable to reach the businessMediator left voicemail11/15/2017: Mediator tried calling business to ask for documentation regarding the claims business has filed against ***However, business's voicemail box was full11/29/2017: Mediator has tried calling business multiple times and can still not reach themThe voicemail box is full, so mediator is unable to leave a message

These pictures are all of the medicine cabinetThe first picture is the front of the cabinetThe second shows the kind of ill fitting hardware used to keep the handle on, making it looseThe third picture shows how the panels were already coming off because of the staples she used to hold them togetherThe forth picture shows why the cabinet does not close, because the clasp does not click or fitThe fifth pictures shows the picture frame wire used to hang the cabinet causing it to swing and be hazardous to open and put anything inside of itThe sixth picture shows the screws popping out of the woodThe last picture shows how it swings open when hung on the wall.Even though I contacted the company and *** showing them why this item is unusable I was never offered a refund or an offer to remake the itemI have still not been compensated by this company for the item and had to spend countless hours proving to my credit card company why this purchase should be considered fraudulentLodgetoloft would like to say that they should not compensate me because all the pieces were stated "one of a kind" and "unreturnable" but I do not believe that means you can send your customers unusable furnitureIt also was not damaged in shipping and should have been taken care of as soon as we received the item

10/27/2017: Mediator called consumer and left a message.10/27/2017: All of the contact that we had with the business was via ***, however, claimed that they couldn't help due to the pieces being supposedly damaged in the mailBut, the pieces were not damaged in the mailInstead, they were built incorrectly and should be returnedIt even took me months to receive the piecesWhen I reached out to the business regarding the pieces, she stated that she would be filing a claim with *** for a refund because of the damageYet, when I called *** a couple of weeks later, I was informed that there was not a claim on fileDue to this, I decided to file a claim myself, but was informed that I would need the business to sign a release in order to film the claimShe refused to do soI then filed a claim with my credit card company requesting a full refund of the $After explaining the situation to them, they issued me the full refundWith this, my desired resolution is that my experience reflects on the businessIt has been a very long process with no help from the businessNonetheless, I do want to know what to do with the pieces that were sent to usThey are currently just sitting in our garageI am afraid to throw them away if she wants them back11/3/2017: I don't know how long this ordeal with *** is going to takeTherefore, I would like to propose that Laura pays the return shipping on the piecesThat way, when her claims with *** are resolved, they can just pay her back directly instead of also involving me.11/07/2017: I am going to have to send all the pictures in a few emails because they are too largeThe first two pictures are of the vanityIt shows that it was not at all what was advertised and described in the invoice, which I will send in another emailIt is made of cheap material like the generic material held up against it in the second pictureIt also does not have the under lip, the hole for the plumbing, and is made from different material and stain as the other two pieces even though they were sold as a set.The pictures of the mirror show that it was damaged in shipping but I believe it was due to poor construction and materialsThe mirror was very heavy and the second picture of the mirror shows how it broke at the corner just from me picking it up out of the boxThe third picture shows how short the screws are and were not sufficent to hold the material togetherIf we had put this on the wall it could have damaged our floors or ourselves.11/07/2017: These pictures are all of the medicine cabinetThe first picture is the front of the cabinetThe second shows the kind of ill fitting hardware used to keep the handle on, making it looseThe third picture shows how the panels were already coming off because of the staples she used to hold them togetherThe forth picture shows why the cabinet does not close, because the clasp does not click or fitThe fifth pictures shows the picture frame wire used to hang the cabinet causing it to swing and be hazardous to open and put anything inside of itThe sixth picture shows the screws popping out of the woodThe last picture shows how it swings open when hung on the wall.Even though I contacted the company and *** showing them why this item is unusable I was never offered a refund or an offer to remake the itemI have still not been compensated by this company for the item and had to spend countless hours proving to my credit card company why this purchase should be considered fraudulentLodgetoloft would like to say that they should not compensate me because all the pieces were stated "one of a kind" and "unreturnable" but I do not believe that means you can send your customers unusable furnitureIt also was not damaged in shipping and should have been taken care of as soon as we received the item.11/07/2017:The first page of this attachment shows the invoice used by Lodgetoloft to advertise and sell me the vanityThe other pages are of the post we found on *** of a different designer that lodgetoloft used to plagerise their workThe last page shows a replica of the picture lodgetoloft used as their own in the invoiceI believe that this is why the vanity was not anything like she advertised, because she was trying to say someone else's work was her own.If you have any questions or need any other information please let me knowI also have records of all our email communication that shows how late she was getting the furniture to me and how she ignored my requests or refused to compensate us for any of the unusable items. Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Two of the packages were slightly damaged but I did not want to wait for her to file a claim because she constructed every piece incorrectly and I would have returned them regardless. She had already shipped the items 2 months later then promised and put our entire bathroom project on hold continuing to make me and my family share a single bathroom since last February. The vanity was not only made from the wrong materials and stained differently from the other two pieces, it was constructed differently then the picture she used to advertise and she did not make the holes needed for the plumbing like she promised on her invoice. I have since realized that she took her advertising picture from a designer on [redacted] that posted her bathroom remodel design in 2014. You can find it at [redacted]. The fact that she had to plagiarize someone else's work as her own shows the level of unprofessional craftsmanship. As far as the mirror goes, thank goodness it was broken when we received it because we wouldn't have been able to see the hardware used. The nails she used are too short and never would have supported that mirror and frame. Also, the wood was so brittle it broke in half when I picked it up out of the box...this is not [redacted]'s fault either. The medice cabinet was not broken by [redacted]. It came with one of the stapled panels coming off, a door that doesn't latch, and she used a picture frame wire to hang it on the wall. Even though this piece is unusable because of it's poor construction and anything I put in it would fall out she is not willing to refund me. As far as the claim with [redacted], I sent her pictures of all the items the day I received them and she never asked for more pictures. After waiting two weeks for her to open the claim with [redacted] I called them myself. There is only one tracking number for all 3 boxes. They told me there wasn't a claim open so I had to do it myself and sent them pictures and the breakdown of the invoices. I am now once again at a stand still because they cannot proceed further until the Shipper agrees that I can handle the case and she refuses to. I knew this would be a process but she does not seem to care how much of my time she waistes and that my family is still at a complete loss and cannot move forward until we are refunded. She needs to send the complete refund of $1,690 and should feel lucky of [redacted] reimburses her for poorly constructed unusable furniture. I have correspondences, invoices, tracking and claim numbers and pictures of everything described if needed.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

The first page of this attachment shows the invoice used by Lodgetoloft to advertise and sell me the vanity. The other pages are of the post we found on [redacted] of a different designer that lodgetoloft used to plagerise their work. The last page shows a replica of the picture lodgetoloft used as their own in the invoice. I believe that this is why the vanity was not anything like she advertised, because she was trying to say someone else's work was her own.If you have any questions or need any other information please let me know. I also have records of all our email communication that shows how late she was getting the furniture to me and how she ignored my requests or refused to compensate us for any of the unusable items. She also said she opened a claim against [redacted] and when I called them about it3 weeks laterthey had no record of it. You told me that she has had [redacted] deny her claim 3 times and is hiring an attorney to fight this. I would like some proof of this considering her lack of effort thus far. When I filed a claim with [redacted] all she had to do was sign a waiver letting me handle the claim instead of the shipper and she ignored my request saying she had to do it herself even though that is not what [redacted] told me and that was all I needed to take the next step. For whatever reason this company has refused to be helpful in any capacity and should not be allowed to sell to others.  Please let me know that you received all three of my emails and if you need any other information.
