This letter is in response to your latest letter to us regarding the above complaintWhen a customer places an order for a custom piece of glass, we place that order according to the measurementsAfter an order is placed and received, we then schedule an installation dateAn installation date had been set up and cancelled by the [redacted] They called and requested an installation date of July , however, our men were already scheduled at another job for the weekSince we couldn't cancel that appointment, the [redacted] apparently contacted another glass company and never told us they were doing so and that the glass they had ordered Would not be installedThey never contacted our office stating they had another company do the workWe left several messages requesting dates for the installation and we never heard back from them after the unsuccessful July date until just recently We were given the approval by the [redacted] to go ahead with the order of their replacement glass Since the glass is not a standard size or a standard thickness and considered custom, the customer is liable for the costWe tried several times to set installation datesAs it turns out, they had already had the glass replaced by another company, allowing us to keep making phone calls and leaving messages when they knew it would never take place If you have any further questions, please contact our office

We received a copy of the complaint referenced aboveWe were contacted by the *** in June
regarding their broken windowWe were given the approval to replace it on June and it was immediately
ordered from Oldcastle Building Supply in SchofieldOur supplier sent an order
acknowledgement stating
delivery of the glass would be on July 8, 2014; however, the delivery was backordered due to backlogs at-their
companyWe do not schedule installations prior to receiving our customers glass, so unfortunately, other
installations had been scheduledAlso, we were in the process of replacing a large amount of windows at Lodi
Elementary SchoolThe *** had contacted our office the end of the week of July to state that
Monday, July 21, would work for them for an installationI, *** *** (office manager) did not tell them "you
***'t make our schedule, we are busy"I told them that, yes, we were busy, and that I did not do the scheduling
and would have to get approval for installation on that Monday, July Our installers had already been
scheduled at the Elementary S~hool for that weekI believe that one date had been set up for installation prior to
all of this, but had been cancelled by the ***We did try to contact the *** about several
dates/times to install, but it didn't seem to work in their schedule since they felt they needed to be there during the
installationOver several weeks, we left several messages on their answering machine regarding setting up dates
for the installation, but we never heard back from themWith these failed attempts in contacting the ***,
we feel they could have contacted our office to say that they were considering contacting another company,and
that they made a decision to have another company replace their glassAgain, in mid August, we left another
message to try to set up an installation dateWe heard nothing.from the *** until their complaint was
filed, and it is stated that they had paid for the window with Check #for $We received their check
today by postal delivery, two days after stating it had already been paid when filing their complaint

We are senior citizens and in all our years we have never been treated so poorly as we have by this company.
We owned a company for many years that serviced companies like Goodyear tire and Sunstrand and never had a complaint We also have witnesses as how this actually happened
AS far as we are concerned when you make a verbal contract that contract should be ***e in a timely manner by getting and installing the product This never happened
We tried but Lodi Glass was always too busy at the Lodi School to schedule our install, and to have a broken window was a safety and security issue
At this point we ***'t even want the money back we just want everyone to know that this company is NOT reputable We would hate to have any other senior citizens taken advatage of.

This is where I go when I need glass or mirrors cut. They are friendly, fast and reasonably priced. They also have a unique gift shop that carries fun glass/mirrored gift items.

[redacted] is lying as he was told that we had already had someone else do the install because of their delay tactics and he also entered our home without permission to leave the glass.  
This business is very unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone.
