[redacted] came in to the salon to receive a vivid color and a trimShe showed me a picture of what she was wanting and I told her that shouldn’t be an issue, but we will need to lighten her hair before hand in order for the color to grab to her hairShe agreed and then I proceed with mixing up the colorI then tell her that since the picture she had shown me was a woman with longer hair, that I will have to compromise and use my best judgment to make it work for her hair since hers waschin lengthShe agreedSo I begin apply the color, and she kept reassuring me how amazing the process was going and how excited she wasSo I was thrilled! Once we were finshed, I then shampooed her and took her back to trim her hairShe told me she was growing her hair out so just to clean up the endsI then did so, and began to blow dry her hairAgain, she told me how awesome it lookedI told her I was going to curl it, but ended up flat ironing it instead because I felt like it complimented the color better for picturesWe took several pictures and I even used some cute hairpieces to really make the color popWe were finished and I told her the total was going to be $Mind you, this color and cut took me approximately hoursIn any other salon you would be paying a minimum of $She didn’t say anything, and then tipped me $5! Again she told me she loved it and I said if she has any questions regarding upkeep or what products to use, please don’t hesitate to contact meShe thanked me again then leftA couple days later I receive a voicemail at work saying how she felt overcharged and how it wasn’t anything like she wantedI was really mind blown and confused because she was just telling me how much she loved it days beforeI heard her mother on the voicemail telling her word for word what to say on the voicemailI feel like she obviously went home super excited and once her mother saw her hair she made her feel like it wasn’t what she wantedWhich I don’t feel like was my fault what so everI am willing to give her a refund because I don’t want this to affect my business or reputation in anywayIt is frustrating to me because this could have been easily avoided if she would have just been honest in the first place, instead of reassuring me that it was exactly what she wanted

It is frustrating to me because this could have been easily avoided if she would have just been honest in the first place, instead of reassuring me that it was exactly what she wanted.
