Review: At 6:30pm on March [redacted] 2015, Lofts and Flats LLC broker [redacted] showed my partner and I an apartment on [redacted]. We completed an application, put down a good faith deposit of $500 to hold the apartment, and paid a $150 application fee. We were notified the morning of March [redacted], 2015, when the broker went to submit our paperwork to the management company, that the apartment had already been rented to another tenant. Lofts and Flats refunded our good faith deposit but is refusing to refund the application fee. A fee we paid to apply for an apartment that was not available. Because the apartment was already rented, we were applying for nothing and now they are keeping the application fee money basically for showing us an apartment that wasn't even available.Desired Settlement: Lofts and Flats should refund the $150 application fee to my partner immediately.
