Good morning, [redacted] Regarding Revdex.com ID # [redacted] , I thought it may be beneficial to give you a complete review of the events that transpired over the course of this project I will refer to the parties as MrConsumer and MrsConsumer as I feel the distinction is important.July 25: I first met with MrConsumer on July We looked at his site and I gave him the price for his x structureWe discussed sidingHe said he was not interested in it; if he decided to add siding he would do it himselfI remember this specifically as I suggested wood siding over sheet metal given the building was built on a hillsideWe spoke at length at how important the timing was for his structureAt that time I told him we were approximately to weeks outHowever I would get him worked in as soon as possible At this time I never spoke with or even meet MrsConsumer Please note our contract lists his building with a knee wall height of four foot Note this is an industry standard term (“knee wall”) regardless of if there is siding or not Further note, we routinely install buildings without siding However, the most important fact is that I specifically discussed siding with MrConsumer and he declined.We installed the posts for his building before the building even arrived in order to help with the time frame; this was approximately two weeks after he signed the contract.August 12: The cover arrived for his building slightly damaged in shippingI called MrConsumer that morning, letting him know that we could install the cover with a repair patch over the damaged area for a discount from his original price or he could wait approximately two weeks for a new cover to come inHe chose to wait an additional two weeksI told him I understood and ordered the replacement cover.August MrsConsumer called me accusing me of not providing the cover in a timely fashionI explained that when the damage to cover arrived and I spoke to MrConsumer, I told him it would be approximately two weeksIt had only been eight days at this pointShe made mention that I told him we can install a damaged cover but he'd have to pay full priceI told her that was not accurateI offered to give him a discount if he would like the cover with a repair patch over the holeHe opted for a new cover I told her as soon as it was in we would get the cover installed.August The new cover came in the end of the day on August We adjusted the schedule and sent the crew to MrConsumer’s on August Shortly after they arrived MrsConsumer begin to verbally assault my foreman as to why there was no siding on the structure Our foreman of years said he had never been as verbally assaulted as horribly as he was by this woman She then called me yelling, screaming, and swearing, saying that my contract stated I was providing siding I explained to her that my contract did not say thatFurther I had discussed siding with MrConsumer when I first met with him in July and he stated he did not want siding I provided her with a price for us to provide sidingShe told me she wanted us to install it however she would be spreading a very unfavorable review of our company to everybody she knewI loaded the material to take to the job site myself so that we could install the siding in a timely fashionBefore leaving for the job site I called her to schedule to meet and have her signed and addendum to the contractAt that point she told me that she did not want any “ [redacted] siding" She told me she already filed a lawsuit against us and a claim with the Revdex.com, then hung up on me.We completed the project that midday and mailed her the final invoice August She sent her final payment by registered mail shortly after.As you can see from the timeline, even with the damaged cover issue and waiting for a replacement, we still installed his building one month after he signed his contract My original timeline estimate was four to five weeks.It is clear there were several miscommunications between Mrand MrsConsumer Further, given the unique nature of where we installed their structure, I am certain we discussed the siding (or lack thereof) for their structure.We have been in business since and do minimal advertising Nearly all of our work is from word of mouth; there would be absolutely no benefit in me trying to “trick” people into paying an additional amount for siding after the fact.Please feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.Thank you,Clint I***__________________
