Hi ***
Please see attached for a copy of my brochure for our buildings You will notice the top two pictures do not include side wall covering Due to the angle, the top left is a little difficult to tell there is no siding on the right side, but if you look closely you can tell there is no side wall covering That building is at our trade show site in Ohio; we put steel on one side and left the opposite open as a way to show customers the various options Further, the top right picture clearly shows no siding on the knee wallNow, I do not remember if I gave Mr *** a copy of this brochure I probably did, but I cannot say so definitively However, I do distinctly remember discussing the side wall options with him, specifically the lack of sidewall covering
http://www.logcabinfence.com/centuryfarms/index.html It is also worth noting we use that same to right picture prominently on our website If this was not a common way to install the structures, why would we use this picture?
Also, Mr *** stated he was using this building for hay storage http://asicoverbuildings.com/photo-gallery/nggallery/industries/hay This link is to the hay storage page on our manufacturer’s website You will notice at least four of the pictures show a knee wall without sidewall coveringOur company has installed over 3,of these structures since This is the first I have ever had an issue of this nature
It is clear the issue is between Mr and Mrs *** If you read through my first account/timeline you will notice several instances where Mr *** and I discussed something and then Mrs *** called me accusing me of something completely differentThank you for your follow up I trust this will be the last of this pointless complaint.

Good morning, [redacted]Regarding Revdex.com ID #[redacted], I thought it may be beneficial to give you a complete review of the events that transpired over the course of this project.  I will refer to the parties as Mr. Consumer and Mrs. Consumer as I feel the distinction is...

important.July 25: I first met with Mr. Consumer on July 25. We looked at his site and I gave him the price for his 30 x 30 structure. We discussed siding. He said he was not interested in it; if he decided to add siding he would do it himself. I remember this specifically as I suggested wood siding over sheet metal given the building was built on a hillside. We spoke at length at how important the timing was for his structure. At that time I told him we were approximately 4 to 5 weeks out. However I would get him worked in as soon as possible.  At this time I never spoke with or even meet Mrs. Consumer.  Please note our contract lists his building with a knee wall height of four foot.  Note this is an industry standard term (“knee wall”) regardless of if there is siding or not.  Further note, we routinely install buildings without siding.  However, the most important fact is that I specifically discussed siding with Mr. Consumer and he declined. We installed the posts for his building before the building even arrived in order to help with the time frame; this was approximately two weeks after he signed the contract.August 12: The cover arrived for his building slightly damaged in shipping. I called Mr. Consumer that morning, letting him know that we could install the cover with a repair patch over the damaged area for a discount from his original price or he could wait approximately two weeks for a new cover to come in. He chose to wait an additional two weeks. I told him I understood and ordered the replacement cover.August 18. Mrs. Consumer called me accusing me of not providing the cover in a timely fashion. I explained that when the damage to cover arrived and I spoke to Mr. Consumer, I told him it would be approximately two weeks. It had only been eight days at this point. She made mention that I told him we can install a damaged cover but he'd have to pay full price. I told her that was not accurate. I offered to give him a discount if he would like the cover with a repair patch over the hole. He opted for a new cover.  I told her as soon as it was in we would get the cover installed.August 25. The new cover came in the end of the day on August 24. We adjusted the schedule and sent the crew to Mr. Consumer’s on August 25. Shortly after they arrived Mrs. Consumer begin to verbally assault my foreman as to why there was no siding on the structure.  Our foreman of 27 years said he had never been as verbally assaulted as horribly as he was by this woman.  She then called me yelling, screaming, and swearing, saying that my contract stated I was providing siding.  I explained to her that my contract did not say that. Further I had discussed siding with Mr. Consumer when I first met with him in July and he stated he did not want siding.  I provided her with a price for us to provide siding. She told me she wanted us to install it however she would be spreading a very unfavorable review of our company to everybody she knew. I loaded the material to take to the job site myself so that we could install the siding in a timely fashion. Before leaving for the job site I called her to schedule to meet and have her signed and addendum to the contract. At that point she told me that she did not want any “[redacted] siding".  She told me she already filed a lawsuit against us and a claim with the Revdex.com, then hung up on me.We completed the project that midday and mailed her the final invoice August 26.  She sent her final payment by registered mail shortly after. As you can see from the timeline, even with the damaged cover issue and waiting for a replacement, we still installed his building one month after he signed his contract.  My original timeline estimate was four to five weeks. It is clear there were several miscommunications between Mr. and Mrs. Consumer.  Further, given the unique nature of where we installed their structure, I am certain we discussed the siding (or lack thereof) for their structure. We have been in business since 1981 and do minimal advertising.  Nearly all of our work is from word of mouth; there would be absolutely no benefit in me trying to “trick” people into paying an additional amount for siding after the fact. Please feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.Thank you,Clint I[redacted]__________________

I would like to respond to Mr I[redacted], case #[redacted]. I,"Mrs Consumer", was not present when "Mr Consumer"talked to and agreed with Mr I[redacted] on the structure, bu he and I had talked at great length abot the building before Mr. I[redacted] came.  [redacted], "Mr Consumer", and I, [redacted] "Mrs Consumer", had agreed before hand , not to enclose  the ENDS to facilitate putting the hay into this new storage building but did salk about and believed that wall meant that the sides were to be enclosed.  Mr I[redacted] did not ever say that it was to be only POSTS on the sides and not a WALL.  Mr. I[redacted] did  not ask [redacted] if he wanted the posts enclosed.  He  would have known that was what we specifically talked about and would not have agreed to the price without it.   8 posts, 4 bows, and a tarp are not worth $8800.00 without the wall.  The area on the contract for the "Advantage Structure" does not even include the option for separate wall siding though all their pictures have enclosed side walls.  Only the ends have options and are shown one open and another closed.  I believe 'knee wall' only means from ground to start of 'bow walls'.            Timing and the hole in the first cover is not the issue.             I also have 2 witnesses to my conversation with Mr I[redacted] and yes, I was very angree but I did not swear at him or any one else.  I have worked for 44 years as a professional Senior Computer Consultant with a staff under my direction with several major corporations, including [redacted], [redacted] , [redacted] Engineers and others.   I wrote many design documents for systems and presented them to management for their approval. I then trained customer staffs on these systems after they were written including many foreign companies.                                                          I don't loose it.               We have had several other contracts this spring and summer with other companies and have had NO problems with them. [redacted] put in 10 new windows and did an excellent job.  They are great windows and the installers were very clean and professional.             We also had our 100+ year old Victorian home painted by ** [redacted], from [redacted], PA..  They also did a fantastic job. [redacted] and his men were very helpful with colors, materials to use and 'best way' to bring out the beauty of the house.              [redacted] Fence did several contracts for us this year without any problem and did an excellent job.              As you can see, it is not like me to miss understand or have trouble working with people.

Review: Log Cabin Fence and I have a contract to install an Advantage Structure on my property for $8800.00.

The contract states a '4 foot knee wall. They have installed 8 posts(4 on each side) and are saying that is the 'knee wall'. I expected a 'wall' not just posts. To me and the dictionary, a wall is a solid structure. Now they want an additional $980.00 to install the wall.Desired Settlement: they should install the wall as expected.
