LogPro Restoration damaged my log home while spraying for carpenter bees. I contacted and spoke with B[redacted]d and he promised to come to my home, make the repair, which required a ladder to access the area of the second story roof. The repair would take less than 5 minutes and he knew it. He never showed. I called, emailed via his web site and never received a return call or contact. I used him/LogPro for 3 successive years. I will never use him again. I do not recommend the business. It is my intention to hire a repair person and bill C[redacted]d/LogPro and if I am not covered I will file a legal action in Bucks County, PA court. I find this entire issue disgraceful.

I am rejecting this response because:

The Deposit of $ 2,866.00 was to confirm the contrcat agreement not to be used to buy supplies. Also Why would they buy the supplies if they had no intention of showing any time from August 2012 until they mailed a sample to the wrong address on March 2013? six months latter? Another thing **. [redacted] said he filed for bankrucpy proctection protection and he never sent us the legal notification.

Review: In May 2014 we arranged for Log-Pro to do some repair to the exterior of our log cabin. The total cost was to be $5900. Log-Pro demanded a deposit of $1500 to purchase materials from [redacted] Log Homes, the manufacturer of our cabin. On May 23, 2014 I mailed to Log-Pro a contract and a check for that amount which was promptly banked. Work was to begin in July. When July was almost over with no word from Log-Pro, we repeatedly asked Bill C[redacted] (Log-Pro owner) for status updates. His replies were vague to the point of incomprehensibility, though he did state that he had the materials (logs) for our job and would be starting soon. Finally he said he would begin the work on September 15, 2014. When we had not heard from him by September 22 we called and once again asked for an update. He returned our call the next day, saying that he was on another job and would get started with us as soon as that job was complete. Meanwhile, we contacted [redacted] Log Homes to ask whether Mr. C[redacted] had actually procured the material needed for the job. We learned that he had contacted them in July (two months after cashing our check, right when we started pressuring him for updates) but had never paid for or received any materials from them.

Since then we have continued to call Log-Pro and have gotten no answer at either the office phone or Mr. C[redacted]'s cell phone. He has not returned our calls.Desired Settlement: At this point we have lost all confidence in Mr. C[redacted] and would like to declare our contract with him null and void. We believe he should refund our deposit since he never used it to buy the materials for our job, as he claimed to have done. He has done no work and purchased no materials yet he has our $1500.
