I ordered custom rugs for my business on October 22, 2013. A salesman came into my place of business and spoke to us about their rugs, and I decided to buy two rugs from him. The salesman told me that there was "like a ten day turnaround time on these rugs." He came back the following day to collect a check for $375. However, when he came back, he told us that the rugs cost a bit more than we were originally quoted, so we gave him an additional $75 (in cash), making our final cost $450. I do have a copy of the contract stating the fact that the salesman collected $450 from us on October 22nd. My check was cashed on October 28, 2013. After a few weeks had gone by and we hadn't heard anything about our rugs, I decided to call the phone number on the contract- which put me in direct contact with [redacted]- the President of the company. He assured me that the rugs were in production and we should be receiving them soon. He said that the salesman should have never told me it would only take 10 days, and in actuality it would probably be about 6-8 weeks. I wasn't thrilled, but I accepted this answer. The week before Christmas (8 weeks in), I called and spoke with the salesman to see if I could get a status update on my rugs. He informed me that he thought we'd already received them & he would check into it immediately. He called me back and said that they were being shipped that very week & we'd receive them the following week. The week of Jan. 6th (week 11) I called back and left 2 voicemails for [redacted]. He didn't return my calls. I went on their website & emailed him. He has still not responded to me. I told him that if I did not receive EITHER my rugs or a full refund by the end of next week (Jan. 17), I would be escalating the issue to the police. I still have not heard back from him. I also noticed on their website it does state that there is a "5 day production time, or less".Product_Or_Service: Custom Welcome Mats/RugsDesired SettlementIf the company could get my rugs to me within the next week, I would be happy with that. If they can't, I would like a full refund of my money. Business Response Carpets will be received within 10 business days weather permuting. By 2/10/2014 Final Consumer Response I hope I actually receive the rugs this time. Live been told that the rugs were shipped out before & I never received them. So, I don't have much faith in this company. But, hopefully I will receive them soon. If I do, the issue will be resolved. If not, I will take whatever steps necessary to get a refund of my money.
