On July **th, Mr*** placed a call to *** Electrical for an electrical issue involving several lights not working at his home
After several hours of troubleshooting the electrician determined a new circuit needed to be ranThe electrician quoted Mr*** $based on the structure
of the home and panel locationMr*** said he would get back with us and paid the $238.50, troubleshooting and dispatch fee
I received the first email from Mr*** on July 16th2014, where he states in his email, "He wanted a second opinion" and hired an alternate electrician who found a short in a switch that caused the problem{Please refer to page 1, paragraph of the his email}
I emailed Mr*** back within a few hours and said that, I would get with my electrician and reply by the end of the work dayI also, questioned Mr*** about the electrician's diagnosisI asked to see the invoice or his written diagnosis statement(Please refer to page paragraph and
of my email}
It took Mr*** days to get back with me
Only to tell me he cannot produce an invoice or any documentation and that he paid the alternate electrician $cash{Please refer to page 3, Paragraph of the email}
He then changes his claim from a short at the switch to a loose connectionHe also, states a picture he sent show the switch with all the lights workingWell, I see a switch hanging out of the wall but no lights or light fixtures
I also have a question as to whether the alternate electrician violated any of the TDLR rulesWas this electrician a licensed electrical contractor?
All I ask is some legitimacy: An invoice, receipt or statement for the second opinionI ask that If Mr*** cannot produce the items I'm requestingThen, Mr*** does not have a legitimate claim and that the case be closed

Here is a copy of the email receipt I received from the repair man the fixed the problemI believe I have sent this one other timeHopefully this will take care of this issue

Mr. [redacted] needs to present proof or documentation, or an invoice and OR a written statement from the alternate License Electrician
he hired to fix the problem to support his claim for a refund. This request was submitted to Mr. [redacted] for this information on 7/**/14 4:17pm.
We stand firm by our decision and consider this
case closed.

It is so simple. [redacted] electrical did not trouble shoot the problem right. [redacted] (the company) wanted to charge me almost $4000.00 to fix a problem that the technician could not find. I had it fixed as explained. The tech they sent was wrong.  I sent a picture of the switch in question. They are more then welcome to come and check it. If this is how they treat customers than I have no choice than to go to the TDLR and small claims court. I refuse to let them get away with this. It is a ripoff.
