Review: On March [redacted] I visited [redacted] for an assessment on my son's, [redacted],teeth. I was told that it would cost $240 for an assessment before I arrived. It is critical to note that [redacted] is one of the most reputable dentist in NYC with a plethora of accomplishments such as being a professor at Columbia University and the past President of Columbia's alumni. During this assessment, she told me that it will cost at least $1500 and no more than $2000 if there are 3 root canals. Consequently, I set up an appointment for the work to be performed. I visited three more times, once on 3/* which cost me $1015, once on 3/** which costs me $925, and 3/** which costs me $865 for a total of $2805. When I asked about the additional charges, [redacted], who performed the work, stated that there was more work to be done. I asked if there were three root canals and she said there was. I am unsure why such a reputabble dentist with a plethora of experience would not know what work needs to be performed and what prices to be charged since it is ultimately her practice.Desired Settlement: I would like my $805 refunded to me expeditiously.
