Lois called to respond and she stated: The consumer purchased a "sale item purse" for cash which was $originally and I gave it to her for $I told her there is a no refund policy at all on sale itemsA week later the zipper broke, she returned, and I advised her "no refunds on sale items"I,
the business owner, advised her to take it to get the zipper repairedShe became extremely mad, I called security, as my shop is in the Greyhound terminalSecurity came and took her out by the armThen she filed the complaintThe store policy is postedNo refunds on sale itemsTherefore, the consumer is not getting a refund

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Well everything she said in her response is untrue! She never told me
that it was a "sale item purse" for cash and it was not originally
$80.00. She never told me that there was NO REFUND on sale items. The
zipper broke not a week later but 4 DAYS later! If there was a no refund
policy on "cash sale items" then why didn't her salesperson tell me
that when I went back to the shop on July 16. Yes I was upset about it
because I didn't pay $6.00 for the purse. I paid $60.00! I could
understand if I purchased the purse from a dollar store or some place
like that but for $60.00 I should have gotten a purse that I could use
more than 4 days without taking it to have the zipper repaired and
invest even more money! I am sure even Lois Anne would be upset if she
went to the mall and purchased something for $60.00 and it broke and
they told her "TOO BAD, YOU AREN'T GETTING A REFUND " I think anybody
would be upset about that...........So what sellers can just take
people's money and not be responsible for their items that they sell? I
believe there should be some kind of warranty, it is not like I
purchased a used purse! Most stores have some kind of refund policy
weather it would be 14 days or 30 days. Basically what she did to me is
like stealing $60.00 cash from me and then laughs in my face, and I have
nothing to show for my $60.00 not even a workable purse!! Apparently
she knows how to work this type of business because she doesn't give
receipts and in my eyes she is a thief! Sincerely, [redacted]
