Review: At approximately 10:30 on Saturday April [redacted], I was approached in time square by an agent for lol comedy club named [redacted]. He explains to me that louis ck will be performing at lol on [redacted] at [redacted] He then proceeded to tell me that he is an agent ticket salesman for lol and is authorized to sell tickets off premise. After looking around and seeing several other ticket agents, wearing the same lanyards, shirts ,hats and holding up the same signs, I purchas the tickets from him..as I proceeded to walk away I was approached by another agent offering tickets as well, when I said to him, " thanks we already bought some, but how long will louis ck be performing?" He looked at me and said that louis ck is not nor ever was scheduled to perform there.. He said that [redacted] was lying and the club knows that this is his M.O but they still allow him to sell tickets for them.. When I returned to where [redacted] was , I see him in a verbal argument with another group that he scammed the same way.. He then takes off running, with our money and never returns.. When I called the club I spoke with a man named [redacted] who tells me that [redacted] does sell tickets for the club but does not work for them directly!?!? Confused, I asked why they continue to allow him to sell the tickets but their only answer was that he doesn't directly work for them even though he was wearing several items and had different credentials that represented lol comedy club.. After 10 mins of back and forth arguing and the [redacted] telling me he was not going to refund my money,I hung up.the club knows this guy is selling for them and selling under false pretenses but does not do anything to stop his lies scams and fraud.. Beware of this establishment because the are dishonest and crookedly allowing people to scam innocent people just looking to have fun in New York!! Every other ticket agent out there knew this guy and about all of the lies and scams he pulls for the club.. All in all he sold me four tickets at 30$ each Totaling 120$.. ThanksDesired Settlement: I would like the club to refund my 120$ and make sure this guy is not selling tickets for them ever again!! This is total fraud followed up with the classic yes he does sell for the club,yes we know him and about his lies but he doesn't work for us and we won't refund your money
