Lolio's Pressure/Window Washing Reviews (6)

From: Brandee<[redacted].com>Date: Tue, Dec 22, 2015 at 7:57 PMSubject: Lolios window & power washingTo: [redacted]@myRevdex.com.orgHello my name is brandee  from lolios window and power washing. I got a letter from the Revdex.com about a case involving [redacted]. The...

complaint number is [redacted]. She said we broke a window at her house but we did not. [redacted]'s father was standing right next to me when I opened the curtain to clean the inside window. As I opened it I said to [redacted], look your daughters window is cracked. He told me to close the curtain and not to touch the window. We've done [redacted]s Father's windows three times at his house, power washed his house twice and we've also done [redacted]s father's other children's windows and never had a problem. [redacted] has young children in the house so one of her children must of hit the window or threw something at it and not told because we did not break that window. If we would have broken it I would have told her but [redacted]s father was standing right there when I opened the curtain. [redacted]s husband tried to tell me that when we cleaned his gutters that day we broke the window. That couldn't of happened because there wasn't a ladder near that window. When I saw the crack I shut the curtains and a half hour later my men went and cleaned the gutters by that window. I've never been turned into the Revdex.com in 30 years so please take care of this for me. I take pride in my family's name and business and I would not like that to be tarnished over something we did not do. Thank you so much. Any questions please call me at [redacted]

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Lolio's WIndows has not acted in good faith throughout this complaint. I was not present when the windows were washed, so I cannot speak authoritatively about how the window was broken that day. However, I can say with all confidence that something happened when the windows were washed that caused one of the panes to crack. The windows were cleaned in the fall, and at that time I would open my windows every day after coming home from work to let in the autumn air. If my children had broken the window prior to that day, as Brandee suggests, it would have been noticed. On the day the windows were cleaned, I saw the broken pane immediately upon entering the house. My husband called Lolio's right away and left several calm, polite voicemail messages about the window asking someone to call us back; no one ever did. It wasn't until I left an angry message a day or so later that we got a response (within minutes) from Brandee. My husband took the call and spoke to Brandee. She claimed no knowledge of how the window was broken. My husband explained that he was not calling her a liar, but that somehow, something must have happened, perhaps something caused by one of her co-workers that they did not share with her. After some back and forth, it was agreed that Brandee's father would come take a look at the window in a few day's time to see if he could fix it. My husband agreed to this, and the conversation ended with the expectation that he would call us at the end of the week to schedule a time to look at the window. That phone call never came. After waiting a few days and giving Lolio's the benefit of the doubt, my husband called back and spoke with Brandee again. Even though their last communication ended with the agreement that someone from the company was going to try to repair the window, Brandie now said that her father did not want to do anything because, in his opinion, it wasn't their fault. My husband expressed his frustration with this because they had previously come to an agreement for an amicable resolution to the problem, but Lolio's was now going back on that agreement. Once again there was some back and forth, with Brandee putting my husband on hold to talk to her father, and finally this call once again ended with the same proposal: that he would come to the house to try to repair the window (although it was made very clear that he was disgruntled about doing so). My husband accepted this, and once again they agreed that Brandee's father would be in contact about coming to look at the window. Yet once again, no one from Lolio's ever called back to make good on this promise. It was at this point that I called the Revdex.com.
In her response, Brandee mentions that she has never had a complaint by the Revdex.com; likewise, in all of my life I have never filed a complaint to the Revdex.com. But I felt it was warranted in this situation because of the poor customer service and dishonest behavior evidenced throughout. Lolio's did nothing to try to remedy the complaint: they did not fix the broken window, as promised on two separate occasions; they did not offer even a partial refund of the $200 bill they charged in order to offset our cost for repairing the window; it is also worth noting that we initially considered putting a stop payment on our $200 check after discovering the broken window, but chose not to do so because we had worked with Lolio's before and trusted them to do the right thing--it wouldn't have mattered though, because we later discovered the check we wrote was cashed immediately after we left the initial message about the broken window, which suggests they were aware of their culpability. In short, Lolio's demonstrated what I feel to be callous indifference to their customers at best, and disreputable business practices at worst. While it is true other members of my family have used Lolio's in the past, I would not expect that to be the case in the future.

I just recieved another letter from Revdex.com from [redacted]. shes still saying we broke her window which we did not break her window. yes, a [redacted] window in the back porch broke  and the [redacted] windows were really, really old. when we went to wash them a slat fell out and broke. I rite away told the father that we broke it. he said it was fine and to throw it away. but, we NEVER broke the front window. like I said before, I opened the curtain while I was talking to the father and their window was broken before I touched it. our guys didnt break it cause we had just gotten there and the guys doing the gutters didnt even put their ladders up yet. a bird could of flew into it, or anything could of happened but it was not us. im sure of that. in my recent letter from Revdex.com, [redacted] said that her family wont be using us, thats fine. I have thousands of loyal customers and weve never had this problem in 30 years. [redacted] also said her husband called to tell me about the broken window and that he was very nice. he wasnt that nice. he had an attitude with me about the window. and [redacted] also said I called back only when she left a message sounded mad about her broken window. it took me a long time to call back because I was extremely busy working out on the road traveling to jobs down the shore. thats what took me a while to call back. we will not be paying anything for the broken window because me, my father and my workers are 100% sure we didnt break it. thank you!!!!
