Review: On April 29, 2015, 2:40 pm, I visited Lollipop for a rainbow slush with mango jelly. Before placing my order, I noticed a hand written sign that said, "Happy Hour" Regular Slush, $2.00. I asked if I had to wait to get the happy hour price and was told that Happy hour began at 3.00 pm. Because I like this beverage, I agreed to wait. At 2:59, crowds began to form and I stepped in line to place my order. As I placed my order, I asked if the one minute time left would be an issue. The young man said no and proceeded to take my order. I ordered a rainbow slush with mango jelly. The regular price would have been $2.99 plus .40 cents extra for the mango jelly had I not received the happy hour discount. Instead, I was told that because the rainbow slush had three different flavors, that I would have to pay an additional .10 per flavor. This was not listed anywhere, and I questioned this. The young man apologized. I informed him that this was not legal. He apologized and said that it was only a .20 difference. Because I wanted the beverage, I agreed to the happy hour pice of $2.00 for the slushy and .40 for the mango jelly. He then asked if I wanted to upsize for an additional .50 cents. I agreed. He rang me up, and the total came to $3.37. I handed him a $10.00 bill and .37 cents change. When my order was ready, it was not a rainbow slushy. I complained and was told that they blend all three flavors together unless I specify that this is not what I want. I had never heard this before. I asked for a refund as I was now quite upset. The manager, [redacted] apologized and said that it was his business and that he could do whatever he wanted. When I explained that this never happened before, he asked if I knew who had served me in the past. At this point, I was really upset. [redacted] acted as if he could not do math as he could not figure out how I was charged. He gave me my $10.00 bill back, and said if I gave him $7.00 change received, it would be like it never happened. He then demanded .37 cents more. I leftDesired Settlement: I would like this business held accountable for illegal business practices, false advertising and would like them to change their signage and make a public apology for anyone who has been taken advantage of. Arrogance on the owners part is unacceptable.
