My complaint comes w/repeated attempts to communicate w/Mr. Lomas on providing me with a "Release of Contractor" form that has been requested numerous times, consisting of text, calls, and emails to him (f/u included). I parted ways with Mr. Lomas towards the end of Dec 2019, and have stressed numerous times to him on the importance of this form, AND that it must be signed by myself & Mr. Lomas in order for me to get a new contractor to complete the work in my home that was not completed (bthrm flooring, baseboards in bthrm/kitchen, bthrm drywall, closet carpet, kitchen cabinet replacement, etc). I parted with Mr. Lomas due to the disrespect (profanity) and unprofessionalism displayed on occasion. I have tried to be patient, but feel taken advantage of, as Mr. Lomas has failed to reach back out since my last and final attempt on 2/4/20. Mr. Lomas said he'd call me, and I have not heard from him since. The ins company doesn't understand why they have not received this form. I have informed them that he has NOT released this form to me so that I can move forward after my attempts to obtain. Still, thinking that Mr. Lomas would be professional, and not prevent myself, a woman/single mother, from getting my house completed, he shows NO remorse, NO care, nor ANY concern, as he has claimed to have sent the document & says he'd send money, then changes his words from a later f/u with him by stating that he has to work on it on his computer. I had provided Mr. Lomas w/my home address (mail) & email (he originally had both), for the purpose of making it easier for him to get this info to me, yet he still has failed to come thru. A few professionals have come by to consult on some of the unfinished work, however, I am unable to move forward due to Mr. Lomas withholding the form needed for me to have the work completed. He has left me no choice but to file complaints regarding his unwillingness to cut ties, yet has been paid upfront per his request, causing more issues for myself, and financial strain
Other (requires explanation) Mr. needs to provide me with a "signed" Release of Contractor form immediately by sending to me via mail to my home address and/or via email. I do NOT wish to meet with him personally due to a) "permanent" loss of trust, b) he is likely to be a "no show" publicly at last min due to making excuses, and c) concerns of unprofessionalism via profanity, etc. I need him to allow me to move forward to take care of my home properly
