Review: I took 2 white shirts in to be dry cleaned, and they destroyed them. They told me the shirts where to old and that my body sweat broke down the fabric over time. I admit the shirts where 5 years old, but I took care of them, they where dress shirts, and they where in perfect condition. They offered to clean all of my other shirts for no cost. I brought them all of my dress shirts and told them 2 of the shirts where also as old as the original pair I brought. I pointed out the older shirts so they would take care when cleaning them. It took over a week for me to get my shirts back, and when I went to pick them up they informed me that the 2 older shirts where ruined as well. However, only one of the 2 shirts that where ruined was an older shirt. The other shirt what was destroyed was only a month old. The owner made another excuse saying, "that when you have clothing commercially cleaned it shortens the life span of the clothing." I find this to be extremely inaccurate. When someone has a wedding dress or a fine piece of clothing they take it to the dry cleaners, they do not try and wash it themselves. The owner continued to say that because I sweat that this was the reason my clothes where destroyed. The owner then told me I can't wear white shirts, fine woven shirts, and I have to wear undershirts. I am filing this complaint because, no apologies where given, excuses where made, if feel like I have been lied to, and no compensation was truly received. I have lost 4 white dress shirts; 3 of them where tailored, and moderately expensive.Desired Settlement: I want money equaling the retail price of the shirts. One shirt was from theory clothing current retail value $175.00 One Calvin Kline $30.00 One Banana Republic $110.00 and one Cennith Cole $30.00. the total amount equaling $345.00
