Review: Had problem with 3 different flooring being installed through out my 1st floor back in March 2013. 2 of the flooring issues resolved at additional cost to me from what was originally quoted. The engineer floor installed in my living room, dining room, step and hall is my problem now. The living room is fine, but the dining room floor, step & hall have been partially floated, semi glued and totally glued by an incompetent floor layerer to the point that the floor has been totally ripped up by a third person who is not a floor person. Since they say they have no one else to try & fix the floor. The floor is coming up, because they can't seem to get the floor level, so part of the floor is fine, while other parts are moving and popping up. The floor people they keep sending, keep blowing me off with excuses, while they cannot come out on a Saturday & when they do make an appointment to come, they call a day or 2 ahead of time & say they can't come because they have other things they forgot about. Now it is almost a year since the original floor has been laid and it has been put off by delay of the flooring people to come and fix the problem or by telling me the floor has to settle and it should be OK. Almost a year later and it still is not correct, I love the flooring I picked out and am happy the way it looks in the living room. The dining room, step and hall are the problems and lack of responsibility of the companies floor laying people to come when they say and fix the problem whatever it takes. They are cutting away my new rug in the dining room to make accommodations for the reconstructing of the engineer floor ( that is rug they are cutting away I paid for).

I want them to send reliable people and people that know what they are doing and stop piece mealing my floor, because they don't no how to resolve the problem. Gluing it down is not an option and a mess when they had to take the whole floor up. They have assigned flooring people, that either don't know how to resolve this problem or don't have any real experience in laying a floor like this one on a concrete/wood foundation. Besides the fact they come late or call a day or 2 ahead and say they can't come for whatever the reason. Paid a lot of money for this little bit of flooring, so I think I should have it fixed correctly and it will be 1 year in March that it has been laid , partially pulled up and put down and totally pulled up and put back down.Desired Settlement: Would like to keep the floor, or have it replaced again by someone that knows how to fix it and that is not by gluing it down either. I want it to stay a floating floor like my living room. I want their floor person to be a qualified floor layer of engineered flooring and be on time and come the day they say they are coming. If they don't have anyone in their company that can do that, then let me see if I can find someone that can solve the problem at their expense or refund me the money for the engineered flooring as well as the rug that might have to be replaced if I can't get the same engineered flooring and rug. Since the rug has been cut away once already trying to accommodate the re-constructing of the engineered floor. You can't keep cutting away the rug, every time they adjust the engineered floor. Then the rug doesn't fit anymore.
