Lombardi's On The Sound

Review: On Feb. * my fiance'e went to Chase bank with a check for the final payment on our wedding party at Lombardi's on the Sound. She deposited the check and received cash to use for the final payment from Chase. She went directly to Lombardi's and gave the payment in cash to the Lombardi's representative. I received a phone call from Lombardi's representative on Feb. **, she told me that the accounting department had told her that one of the $100.00 bills was counterfeit and my account would be charged $100.00. I questioned the chain of custody of the currency, and asked if the financial entity that had confiscated the $100.00 had issued a "Counterfeit Note Report" to them. I have not received a phone call from their accounting Dept. or had a representative from Lombardi's call me to resolve this issue to my satisfaction.Desired Settlement: I want the $100.00 credited back to my account.

The company representative told me that the $100.00 in dispute would be deducted from my refund. I have not received any of the refund.

Review: I had my daughter's shower there on May [redacted]..I was asked to come pay the balance in cash prior to the party which I did..However,I didn't have the exact amount and they couldn't give me any change. they told me they would mail me a check.The party has come and gone and I haven't received my change.. There was so many things that disappointed me,they ruined my daughter's surprise shower..I worked so hard to make it a surprise and they told her at the door..When I called the manager the next day they did give me a brunch gift card but when I asked about my change I was dismissed by her and told to call the office in Holbrook. I called them they said they would mail it out it has been two weeks..I called yesterday they told me someone would call me back but they haven't...It really isn't the change they owe me it's everything..They ruined my party and then didn't go out of there way to give me back my money..I think waiting 2 months is a long time...Desired Settlement: A phone call telling me that this has been brought to the owners attention and will never happen to anyone again

I was in the middle of planning a wedding when I visited Lombardi's on the Sound. I received a quote for the pricing for the evening and was told that I had time to think about it. I called back after the holidays and was told that my quote for the evening was no longer valid. Their prices had jumped almost 40 dollars. They refused to honor my quote, even though the documentation I have does not state that their quotes are only valid for 30 days. As a business that claims that reputation is everything this is poor business practices. I was extremely disappointed that they refused to honor the quote and will not be recommending this business to anyone in the future.
