How would I not be "committed to purchase"? We were asked for a deposit if we were serious, and we did provide oneThe moment my credit card was given & received by the Salesperson, that's "committed to purchase"After speaking with Krista D***, Sales Manager from the Dealership, she told me that this is exactly how she would handle this complaint
She admitted to me on the phone, the evening of September 10th that they weren't making any money on this deal, and told me they would not be prepared to do such a deal - even after it was already arranged
In addition, as mentioned in my previous statement - the Salesperson "Chase", and the Sales Manager "Brandon", were both aware of our previous plans that evening - we were very upfront to even tell them where we were going - this is all because we did not sign on the dotted line that evening - even after we explained prior to showing up at the dealership, we did not have the time to dedicate to finalizing the deal that evening, but would be in the following afternoon to sign everything off
Also, as mentioned in my previous statement - how the dealership chooses to manage their personal information, such as my credit card information - is not completely up to them, but if we provide credit card information, in the form of a deposit, at approximately 10:am on a Thursday morning, I'd like to think that some sort of a deposit would have been processed that business day - apparently not? So as my initial comments stated, I am curious as to the desire for the credit card info - if nothing was to be done with it?
The Business response states: "we are sorry the vehicle was sold to another customer who WANTED TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THE VEHICLE THAT DAY"....again, from a Customer stand-point, I had put down a deposit - not knowing they didn't actually do this at the dealership

The fact of the matter is, "Chase" was well aware of our schedule, plans, and commitment - the Dealership sold a vehicle to someone for a higher amount, or an amount that provided the dealership with a higher returnAn Agreement is an Agreement - and the Dealership did not uphold to their responsibilities and expectations as a business

As per or conversation today you had asked me to outline our sales process
-Once the customer agrees to purchase a vehicle with the sales associate a manger will go over all the numbers with a customer and have them sign the bill of sale
-In this case the customer had agreed to leave a deposit on the vehicle but did not want to sign the bill of sale and had asked for a further discount from the manager
-We did not take the customers deposit as they did not sign the bill of sale and we were unable to give a further discount
