We reviewed video from the last visits and we did no physical damage to the fender.Called 11/20/asked her to come in so we could look at the damage that she said was done at our shop. She said she would but did not show.Called 11/23/She stated she did not have time Friday and would
call at a later time.As far as the taking advantage of her she came in from another shop and said that they had told her that her motor mounts were bad. We confirmed that they were bad and gave her a quote and she agreed to replace them. After having it done she said the vibration was worse. We stated we did not diagnose it for a vibration. We did do a FREE diagnose for her and determined the crank pulley is starting to separate.She declined. We will continue to reach out to her. I spoke with [redacted]i yesterday and then contacted the technician who fixed her noise. The technician said that a bolt that connects the subframe to the frame looked like it had been broken for sometime and that someone had drilled it and tried to rig it the wrong way. We never had the bolt to the...
subframe off and the technician agreed that it looked to have been that way long before we had it in for the bearings. As far as replacing the axles, we never replaced the axles. On the labor line that our repair site has that is on the work order it states labor only that it includes removing and inspecting right front axle. She was never charged for any axles. The only new parts that were replaced were the front wheel bearings and the intermediate shaft. We guarantee all of our work and the vehicle left our facility with no noises. The bolt that is in question per her technician states that it had been that way for sometime and that it finally decided to let loose from a faulty repair done at another facility from ours and or possibly a backyard mechanic. When the bolt broke it hit into the axle boot causing the axle to go bad. The technician that I talked with name is [redacted] and his phone number is [redacted]Thank you, [redacted]
