Lone Mountain Electric Reviews (5)

This has been the longest months of excuses and delays and still no end in sight a simple rewire and box replacement has turned into a giant mess that has had about a total of man hours of actual work completed keys have had to be made as employees seem to come and go from this place and amazingly the keys disappear along with them switchboard seems to be absent of anyone in any department except estimates ever answers and they have no knowledge of any scheduled work or who would be doing any of it I am just so tired of chasing this company and as it is they have exhausted my finances keeping up with the insurance so they can piddle around and not complete a 4-day job as was estimated in July of in August they asked for half their money which was supposed to be due upon completion but they had "unforeseen" circumstances which required me to pay something earlier so they could buy supplies which never seemed to get into my walls in more days it will be exactly months

To Whom It May Concern: Lone Mountain Electric had completed this work sometime ago and Mr. [redacted] was not charged for additional costs or work. After it was discovered that a technician was attempting to sell an entirely new panel to Mr. [redacted] which he did not need, we...

terminated our relationship with that particular technician and made the less expensive repairs saving Mr. [redacted] a large sum of money. While I apologize for the delays,  we were experiencing several difficulties with various members of our management team which have all since been replaced. Lone Mountain was delayed in this response as your office, unexplainably has the wrong address on file. I say unexplainably as we were accredited members of the Revdex.com for some time and you had no issue delivering correspondence to the correct address but for some reason failed in this complain. I am now correcting the information on your website currently. I may be reached at my office with any questions. [redacted]CEOLone Mountain Electric, LLC.[redacted]Tempe, AZ 85282###-###-####[redacted]

We replaced the breakers at a lowered price than replacement of the panel which I determined the client did not required. The breakers were replaced in response to the clients comments he had a fire in the property, thus replacing the breakers seemed to be a reasonable action. The client's issue of lights dimming is a separate issue, however no resolution could be found as the power did not drop more than 5% after testing which is within the industry standard, thus the power company will take no action to resolve. We have repaired the smoke detectors as requested, all work has been completed and it is my understanding the client would like additional discounts. The argument that it only took 45 minutes is not a solid argument as it was a bid job. If the project would have take two weeks would the client had been willing to pay more money? The fact is, LME has been to the clients home four separate times to date and billed the client approximately $2,000 less than what was originally quoted. If the client wishes to have his panel replaced I will do so for the difference from what he has paid and the original quote, however I believe there to be no reason for such action after his panel has had the breakers replaced and all connections tested.

To Whom It May Concern: I write in regards to the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] and dispute the “facts” outlined in his letter. Lone Mountain Electric was contacted as an emergency by Mr. [redacted] landl[redacted]. We immediately responded and explained a new service would...

be required to be installed as the existing had failed. We installed the service and while it did fail one inspection, it was corrected and passed by both the city of Phoenix building department and the utility Arizona Public Service. The service was ultimately restored. Mr. [redacted] continually called and complained to our company demanding we replace his laptop. We, at our expense, sent several techs to his home to investigate and saw no issues with the service which was installed. It became increasingly clear that Mr. [redacted] was attempting to extort a new computer from Lone Mountain Electric. To the best of my knowledge Lone Mountain had done no internal work to the residence, only to the electrical service on the home, which was a free standing pedestal for a trailer home. The issues described by Mr. [redacted] are not likely to take place, actually I would say impossible to take place with the replacement of an electrical service, especially one that was inspected and passed by both the City of Phoenix inspectors and Arizona Public Service. Lone Mountain was delayed in this response as your office, unexplainably has the wrong address on file. I say unexplainably as we were accredited members of the Revdex.com for some time and you had no issue delivering correspondence to the correct address but for some reason failed in this complain. Hello,Below is my rebuttal. As mentioned before, the amount of work done did not add up to the amount that we've paid.  Attached is a detailed receipt on what was supposed to happen.  We paid half of the total cost ($1948.50) and we're supposed to have a complete panel replacement/rejuvenation along with smoke detector wires replaced.  As mentioned many times to the technicians, our primary goal was to have the surging in our house cease and the smoke detector wires replaced.  Originally, we were told that the panel rejuvenation would fix this.  About an hour before the time they were supposed to arrive to do this, they changed the plan--they said that I needed to call the electric company to prevent them from turning off our electric panel because the breakers were the only thing that needed to be replaced.  We then verified with the tech that this would fix our problem.  It took about 45 minutes and he replaced our breakers when he arrived and arrived late at that.  I confirmed with him one more time that this would fix our problem.  He said yes, told us that we owe even more money in addition to what was paid already and left.  I tested immediately and it did not fix the problem.  This situation remained until [redacted] Lord finally responded to the Revdex.com complaint (months later) saying that the work was completed and that he 'saved us money'.  [redacted] then contacted my partner, Jarred, who wrote the check and set up another time to come out to our house (December 21, 2015 @ 9:30am).  The tech came out, messed with the electrical box that is under jurisdiction of the electric company and said we weren't receiving enough power and that is why it was surging.  Mind you that this is the third theory as to why the electric is surging in the house.  Upon verifying that and the smoke detector wires no longer needing to be repaired (because we decided to get wireless smoke detectors as this is a 4 month long process to actually get someone out to our house and actually fix our issues), he left saying that he or [redacted] would let us know what our next steps would be since the electric company has to fix that.  We've called multiple times at the number listed in the reply and [redacted] does not pick up nor does he return our voicemails.  We've paid close to two-thousand dollars to have 45 minutes of work done (that did not fix the issue) and to replace our breakers which is an amount that is unheard of from everyone I've talked to.  If that is the case, I want receipts for the labor and parts that 'saved us money' in addition to why this fix was proposed in the first place as it has done absolutely nothing to fix our problems.  This case will not be closed until the company decides to provide the fix(es) that have been stated over the course of this venture and our problem resolved or until we have been reimbursed for the entirety of the check because replacing the breakers did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue that we have been adamant in trying to resolve.  Should this continue past January, legal action will be taken. Thanks,[redacted]
