Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I spoke with *** regarding the complaint and he stated that he was going to work with me to correct the problems He was sending me new doors through UPS which were delivered 11/but were damaged I contacted him on 11/to notify him of this and he was going to send to me new doors that he already has to replace damaged doors We also agreed that [redacted] would reimburse for my labor costs for installing the doors and redoing the current installation At this time, I have not received any refunds from him I will give him until 11/to follow-thru on this[redacted] has not been honest with me as to his workers It was conveyed to his workers that I was upset with them When I spoke to the workers, I told them that I had had a disagreement with their boss and was pleased with their work I was told that the workers were informed just the opposite from ***Also, another time [redacted] was suppose to contact me about my garage door but [redacted] stated that he never received the message from the foreman on the project.Windows in the shed are leaking and have rotting and black mold I will have had to reseal them and fix them myself I just discovered this with the heavy rains which we had on the evening 11/2.I have spoken with him on 11/and am requesting [redacted] to call me so we can discuss in further what needs to be completed to satisfy my complaint

We have, twice, sent (viaUPS freight services) replacement panels to Mr***Both sets were rejected by him due to shipping damageWe are currently waiting to receive another pair of door panels from our supplierOur intention is to hand deliver them to Mr***He has contacted us and approved of this plan

We are very concerned about the experience described by Mr*** I would love to hear from him personally so we can address these issues as soon as possibleI can be reached directly @ [redacted] or by email @ ***@loneoakbuildings.com Sincerely, [redacted]

I will do my best to address Mr***’s concerns in turn 1) Mr*** did not inform us that that there would be a Madison county inspection and code modification until just before deliveryI informed Mr*** that there would be an additional cost of $dollars to do this
He agreed2) After construction, Mr*** was dissatisfied with the wall color of his buildingMr*** stated his concerns that we may have used the wrong color metalMr*** also provided pictures that appeared to be the correct color, Light Stone. Still, Mr*** maintained that he thought the color didn’t look quite right to himAfterwhich, I personally visited his buildingAt this time I concluded that the color was in fact Light StoneWhen I informed Mr*** of my findings, he agreed that the wall color was correctHowever it didn’t look like he had envisioned and he was still not satisfied. Mr***, then, asked if I would estimate the cost to replace the wall metal with another color. I estimated $1400-$1700, and asked if he would like me to furnish an exact quoteHe said not to bother, at that timeI do not believe we misrepresented the metal colors3) The building is designed to use the treated 2xbottom wall girt (grade board) as a form for pouring a concrete floorWith this design the garage and entry door’s thresholds begin at the top of this grade boardThis allows for the doors to be installed before the existence of the concrete floorAnd, typically eliminates the need for additional formwork before pouring a concrete floorBecause of economy and convenience, this is a popular design used by most of our clients who intend to add a concrete floorThese design details were discussed with, and approved by Mr*** prior to constructionAdditionally, when I visited Mr***’s building I observed that the original grade of the building was set at a practical (2” above the soil line) elevationHowever, the interior of the building had been excavated and marked, to place the floor several inches bellow the grade line4) We take pride in building quality pole buildings using superior material and proven construction methodsIf any part of Mr***’s building is lacking in quality, is shoddy, or unsafe we would like to address those issues, post haste5) If there is anything incorrect with the materials or installation of the overhead doors we would like address those6) Since most or our clients who pour a concrete floor on the interior of their buildings do not add concrete on the exteriors as well, we extend door-jamb trims to the bottom of the exterior base trimWe feel this gives the building the best possible look and versatilityWhen a client chooses to add an exterior concrete apron we recommend trimming the bottom of the jamb trim so it does not directly contact their concrete7) The treated grade boards, under the entry door thresholds, were left exposedWhen I visited Mr***’s building I finished one of them but neglected the otherThis was an oversight on my part8) On August 18th I addressed the leak issue and covered the kick board under the front door thresholdI did neglect to cover the kick board under the rear doorI believe this is the missed issue Mr*** is referring to. 9) I have spoken (by phone) with Mr*** since his last text message, on Sept12thI agreed to return and install trim on the kick plate of the rear doorTo date, I have not made it back up to his building

I spoke with the business and the owner has told me he will not have the doors until tomorrow 12/29/and he will try to find time to deliver them after they arrive

I called December 27th and left a voice mail for the status of the door panelsNo one has responded

I spoke to the company yesterday and he told me the door would be in todayI called today and he didn’t answer any of my calls

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: *** is incorrect in nearly all of his responsesI have included screen shots of the emails in which it states I am going through the county for permits*** had previously built a building near me, less than a half of a mile from my house, and should have been familar with the county codes As far as I know *** never came out to my property until 8/ 18/ The last attachment are the colors I thought I was going to have on my building they look nothing like what I recieved, but according to *** they are the sameI do not recall him calling me after September 12th because I sent him a text message on September 24th and he never responded
Sincerely,
*** ***

Mr***'s letter appeared to have two main pointsI have attempted to address them both. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do.Sincerely,*** *** 1) On November 27th we submitted our initial proposal to Mr***On January 15th of Mr*** accepted and endorsed this initial building proposal of $11,However, after finding he would need a Madison county permit, we revised our proposal for Mr***This took place on April 15th of On April 20th Mr*** accepted our revised proposal of $12,which included the modifications and additional hardware to satisfy Madison county 2) We did not state that his color choices were the same as the picture he suppliedIn fact, he actually ordered the building with Ash Gray roof and trimThe building pictured has a Taupe roof and trimHowever, the main wall metal on both his building and the building in the picture is light stone
