Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolutionI have read what was sent from the business and is not clear on some thingsSuch as we were told when I called on TueJune 30th that the gate had arrived and that Jarred was going to call me later that day to set up a time to come out on WedJuly to take a look at our complaint in person when the gate was going to be replacedHe never called and the gate is still not installedWe are tire of being led on as if we do not matter which to us is importantWe were also told by our sales person that once our project starts we are the main focus until the job is done which was a LIEWe do not want a credit to have to come back to their businessWhat we want is 25% off of the total for all that has taken place since we signed on the dotted lineWe have kept in contact with the business but they do not seem to care about keeping in touch with usThis is everything that has take place since the beginningThere was a misunderstanding on the words that was used concerning the cancelation days, the extra charges when going with a finance company, we were told that it was going to take days for the fence to be installedthe day that the installation was to take place my husband just happens to be coming in and told me that the neighbors houses down was getting a fenceWe approached the working men come to find out they were sent to the wrong house and we could have lost our fenceWhen I called John *** he said they went to the wrong houseI then went back to the me to clerify what happened that is when they showed me the hand written paper work with John *** singed name on itI called him to let him know about them going to the wrong house and I told him that I had contacted the Revdex.com and all of a sudden he wants to come and talkGetting their business back in good standing was the only reason he came out personallyThis company has never take responsibility for their mistakes it has always been I'm sorry but so-n-so are at foughtThe damage done was the shipping fought...no it was because the workers had unloaded at the wrong house having to carry and reload and unload at the right houseAlso if the workers would have told us that they needed to use our water we would have directed them to use the water on the different side of the houseThey used the water attachment on one side of the house that was broken and when they tried to stop the leaking of the water they broke the nozzle that we now have to have replaced and has been running since they installed the fence because we might have to order the partsAfter the settlement of the rain we notice that the polls are off leveled and is causing some areas to sink lower then the othersWe then was suppose to get a wire at the bottom of the fence and if it wasn't for my husband talking to the workers we would not have gotten itBy the way it is white and when my husband and I asked why it was white the man told us that the white one was betterI then asked if we had a choice he said, "No you do have an options because the white one is better then the black but we ordered a black fence they should have made sure that the wire was also blackNow we have to look at a black fence with a white noticeable wireAlso the man who installed the wire came with his family I supposeA woman and a little girl and the way that he was moving taking his time was not good enough for usWe are tired of going through thisI also sent emailed picto Jarred I think Richmond to show him what the issues wereIt is sad the way that this company is being rainedIf they cannot get this project done they can come and get it and and we can get it done else where.

*** ***

First of all, Richmond would like to thank you for being patient in this matter.  Richmond only offers aluminum window/door awnings of one standard thickness.  There is no option for a "more durable" aluminum awning.  All of our awnings of that type are made with the same materials...

across the board (no matter what size).  We are sorry that your door damaged the awning.  Even though it is not Richmond's responsibility to replace or repair awnings damaged by homeowners after they are installed, we are understanding and know that things happen.  Richmond will agree to repair the damaged part of the awning at NO ADDITIONAL COST to the homeowner, if the homeowner agrees to properly secure the door that damaged the awning in the first place (so it doesn't swing open too wide and damage the awning again).  This is a one time free repair we are offering.  If it is damaged again there will be a service fee of $250 to come out and replace any damaged parts of the awning. We believe this is a reasonable solution to this disagreement.  Please let us know how to proceed.  Thanks

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this response/resolution is satisfactory to me. Please allow us to communicate when we are ready for the awning repair. As you can see by the attached picture, we are dealing with an open hole and a different contractor issue. Please allow us a week to get this issue resolved and we can communicate via e- mail to let you know when the awning can be repaired.Thank you for your response

This job was recently installed and we are still making some adjustments on the finished product to meet the homeowners satisfaction.  Some products were damaged in shipping and we are waiting on delivery of new fence parts.  In regards to the attempt at canceling, any business you sign a...

contract with you have 3 days to cancel the contract (3 days from when you sign the contract).  This homeowner tried to cancel the job weeks after they signed the contract and we had already had materials delivered to our warehouse for this particular job.  I told them they could cancel the job but would have to pay for us to ship back the material that we had already received for this job.  This customer also signed up for financing through a company we use for financing.  They then wanted to cancel the financing to save money on the finance charge that we have.  I called the finance company and they said as long as they don't use the card # given to them to pay for the job, then the financing would be cancelled. Either way we will do our best to make sure the homeowner is happy with the finished product when we are done.  We will also be giving them some sort of credit for the problem with the original material that was damaged in shipping and for the confusion on scheduling (due to rain delays).  We will get with the homeowner when everything is finished to talk about the credit.
