Ms***'s vehicle was towed from the parking lot at *** ** *** at the request of the manager of the propertyThe property manager has been hired
by the property owner to manage the parking lot, they are unaffiliated with any of the other tenants of the propertyThe tow was requested because Ms***'s car was unauthorizedThere was not a valid parking permit, which she even admits that she had parked there before and had usually paid but didn't this timeLone Star was just responding to a request by the property manager
The fees charged are regulated by the *** *** *** and the fees charged to Ms*** were in accordance with relevant regulations
Therefore a refund is not warranted as all policies and regulations were followed

My car was there less than two minutesI was trying to find out who to pay or if I had to moveThere is no way anybody had time to complain and request that it be towed

As stated previously, Ms***'s car was towed per the request of the property managerIt is not possible to know how long a car has been unlawfully parkedIt is unlikely that our driver ignored anyone while performing his dutiesIt is probable that they cannot hear or disregard frantic activity because they are focused on driving safely, especially when they have a vehicle hookedOur fees are regulated by a public commission and are well within the confines of the lawWe are sincerely empathetic, but the parking rules are set by property managersWe simply enforce themWe remain firm with our position to not process a refund on this claim

I still feel that they used ruthless business practices to basically rob peopleThere is no way I believe that they did not seem walk away from my car and less than minutes later chase them down the streetThey should not be allowed to get away with doing business in this manner

While unfortunate that you feel that way there will be nothing done further in this matter as under careful investigation our damage claim expert determined that the damage was not caused by our tow truck

Our drivers are trained on how to handle various vehicles and each vehicle is handled as if it were our own. If it was towed from the rear and had the 4WD on it would not have rolled- and our driver would have had to dolly it. Our trucks are equipped to tow any vehicle AWD, 4WD, FRD and RWD every...

time that we are dispatched out on a call. We do not intend on refunding any money for the invoice, or reimbursing any expenses related to your vehicle maintenance.
