Tell us why here... My company will not accept responsibility for the damages caused to the vehicle that was towed properly. The vehicle already had issues and could not pass a state inspection. Please ask the person complaining , to show you how long her vehicle has been non compliant (...
registration sticker and inspection sticker expired) her vehicle is not working properly and she is trying to blame my company for issues her vehicle had before we towed it.

I am rejecting this response because: Lone Star Wrecker has a long history of questionable practices, many of which have resulted in fines and/or sanctions by the TDLR. Lone Star Wrecker would not accept my credit card on the day I first presented it, saying their machine was down. According to [redacted] with the TDLR, Lone Star was required by law to release my vehicle if unable to process credit cards. Instead, they kept it until their machine was repaired. This is in direct violation of state law. The reason the vehicle was left there so long was because it was an illegal tow and I was, and still are, exploring civil and criminal remedies. There is a Tow Hearing scheduled for November10, 2015.

I am rejecting this response because: of them lying, I was never notified prior to tow per texas tow law, I took directly to the car wash when I left the tow place and I took pictures there. The dust from car was wiped off so I know atleast the tow truck driver knew the damage was done. I had just got home from houston earlier that day and it had been parked in my paid assigned parking spot for less then 24hrs when towed. I have complained to TDLR as well and will this to court if necessary.

It is unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] keeps making these false accusations. Lone Star wrecker service obtained the work order from the apartment complex, for the installation of the handicap sign. Work order 86934 was submitted on August 31, 2015 , for the installation of a handicap sign in front of apt 1103. The work order was completed on September 25, 2015 at 2:52pm. Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle was towed on October 6, 2015 , for parking in a handicap space with out a handicap hang tag or license plate. He was taking a space that was designated for a person with a disability. As far as payment , please look at the complaint, he paid with a credit card. If Mr. [redacted] would have picked up the car that morning or with in 24 hours , his charges would have been $188.30. He chose to leave his car at the storage lot for additional days which caused his bill to increase. We can't control when he wanted to pick up his vehicle. He told his apartment complex that he was not going to pick up his vehicle and that they would be responsible for picking up his vehicle. They let him know that he was responsible , because he parked in a space that was for a handicap designated parking. At this time I can't refund Mr [redacted]'s money for his disregard of a handicap parking space.

We would need more information in regards to this tow. Name of the community that the person was towed from and license plate number.
