Long and Foster are very cut throat and do not care what inhumane practices they use just so they can make a buck... They are trying to evict a disabled couple upstairs and myself from a house that they have rented over 27 years.. It doesnt matter to Long and Foster if you beg, plead or even cry to them about being misplaced and homeless, they will have you thrown out on the street just so that can make their commission check... I had to file a police report because they tried to come into my home without a proper notice from the owners to allow them to take picture.. I was rudely awakin from my nap by someone not knockimg on my door but POUNDING on my door trying to get into my apartment to take pictures... The propery manager broke through my screen door trying to get into my apartment.. I had to call the police and file a report.. If they continue their imhumane practices I will be forced to go to the court house and file for a protection order.. There's a humane way to sell a house and throwing people out on the street with no regards for their wellbeing isnt the way you do it...
I forgot to mention... When the property manager and real estate agent were trying to force their way into my apartment they scared the living hell out of my 14 year old daughter and my 11 year old nephew.. My nephew ran in the bedroom and locked the door, and my daughter grabbed a shower rod because she thought they were coming in to harm us.. The kids had no clue what was going on, all they knew was some mad man was trying to break in.. The property manager was also calling me obscene name and him and his girlfriend were cussing me out.. The real estate agent saw it all..I then called the police but they were all gone before the police arrived.. Its all on file in the police report.. I cant believe L & F have agents that represent their company working for them.. I would hope whoever the agent is, I believe her name is Rhonda is repremanded severly for her part in it all.. I will not be bullied and harrassed out of my apartment ... I was mislead from the start as to the conditions this house was being sold and its not my fault because of the circumstances I was forced into... There's a right, legal and humane way to resolve this problem...Im more than willing to work with whoever to come up with an aggreement to where both parties are treated fairly, but you will not intimidate me out of this apartment... I have a legal binding lease and Ive paid money to be here.. Thank you, Linda
I was charged $110 bye David L for an application for a house rental. Was made to wait a whole business week to be told no. But based of of what nothing nothing was done no credit check was done and thats verified through *** and our current landlord or references were contacted. We also had our realtor contacting but to get a run around. Financials were all meet no problem. So he took our 110 dollars and said no.
Blue prints were given to John G of Long and Foster in Media when we thought the building was going to be sold. The building was Not sold. When we requested the return of our blue prints, at first we were ignored for two weeks. We received a letter today claiming we “abandoned “ the blue prints in his office. Nothing is further from the truth. When John found out he wasn’t going to receive a commission, he threw them out. He has not offered to replace them, rather stating they were copied but Nobody has an idea where those copies might be.
