Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Mr*** states that I was the General Contractor when in fact I wasn'tMr*** agreed to be the General Contractor and filled out forms which I turned in to my mortgage company to this effect. I also requested a contract from Mr*** and his company and he refused, stating that the Work Order is the contractMy mortgage company asked for a copy of his General Contractor's License and he had me inform them one is not required in the state of Texas(Why not?) As for the hole put in the water line, the incident occurred before October 13, and the water was not turned offI received a bill in the mail when I hadn't been able to live in my home for almost months and went to the City offices and had a Holiday Hold put on my account and the water turned off on October 23, It was on November 15, that Mr*** informed me of the nail that was put through the water line and he laughed as he told me about the water gushing out from under the new siding being put up"We didn't know where it was coming from and then I remembered the water lines were in the attic." I didn't find it funny as, when asked, he said he didn't tell the plumber nor did he inform me, either by phone or text, when the incident occurredIt was almost a month and a half after the incident before he informed meAs for the plumber, when Mr*** agreed to be the General Contractor for the restoration of my home, I told him I wanted to choose the plumberHe agreedThe plumber I chose has a Master's License and many years of experienceAs for proof, I do have photographs of the siding already completed on October 13, This (not informing me right away about the damage to the water line) is only one incidence of negligence on Mr***'s partAs for the list Mr*** speaks of, he only completed part of the listI stopped the painters as they were performing work at my residence after I had requested Mr*** not have any of his contractors perform work at my homeI made the request in a text on November 25, 2017, which I still have, and then again on November 27, On both occasions he ignored my request and had people at my homeI believe that is trespassingThen there is the issue of the wiringI lost the breaker box to the storm and it had to be replacedWhen the wiring was redone, I informed Mr*** on more than one occasion that I was smelling wire burning and that only light switches in the house were workingI was told respectively; the breakers are, it's your imagination, I'll get someone to take a look at ir, I'll go by and see what's going on." On November 28, I hired a new contractorOn November 29, 2017, I fired Mr*** as the General ContractorYes, he did say he wasn't charging me for the painting which hadn't been completed, but the painters shouldn't have even been performing work at my home per my request that he not have any of his workers working at my homeHe also offered to give me the drywall he'd had delivered to my home (after I informed he I wanted it removed immediately) the morning of November 29, 2017, two days after the second text request that he not have any of his contractors (workers) at my homeNot only were they at my home, he had given them a key so they could gain entryNot acceptableDecember 1, 2017, I hired an electrician to come in and find out where the issues were with the electricalAfter five hours, the electrician had troubleshot all the wiring, fixed the issues, and since them there has been no smell of burning wire in my home.

Revdex.comIn response to the ridiculous an ever changing accusations from [redacted].[redacted] acted as her own general contractor with only performed work that was spelled out on individual work orders. We gave her a list of estimates on the work we could perform and the bid prices. She picked the...

items she wanted us to do and they were put on work orders which she signed. Some of the work spelled out was interrupted by [redacted]. Plumbing line was repaired from nail immediately and [redacted] notified of it to tell her plumbing contractor (of which we were not ever working with or contracted with in any way) since the water was not on in the house and we had no way to test if the repair was holding correctly. When [redacted] decided to have others do some of the other work she stopped us from finishing the Sheetrock work which in return interrupted the final trim of the electrical work. 90% of the electrical work performed was replacing the destroyed service panel and rewiring the newly built garage. Hurricane Harvey destroyed half of the house. In no way did our actions caused water damage. That's ridiculous. [redacted] is currently under investigation for felony theft by check and we are in the process of filing a civil suit against her. We did meet with her and she gave us a list of a few items she wanted completed which we did and we even agreed to not charge her for the exterior painting we were in the process of doing since she stopped all work and we could not finish the electrical trim and a little bit of painting that she stopped. All work we did was properly permitted, done accordingly to all applicable building codes, and inspected by a windstorm engineer and city inspectors.
