Final payment will be made only after it's full completion, inspection and approval by *** CountyThis project required a permit, which Long Fence was informed of and did not obtain.

We have refunded the deposit. The $160 was held out for our cost to secure the permit. The customer has use for that permit for up to one year from date of issue.

If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: it fails to acknowledge the actual problem that we have encountered.  We received a permit through DCRA (Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs) at the advice of Long Fence.  DCRA does not have an issue with our fence and has nothing to do with this.  It is the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) that has issued the stop work order and contends that we are not in compliance with their regulations.  We have requested a hearing with DDOT and would hope that since Long Fence has now offered to assist with a DCRA hearing it will also assist with a DDOT hearing.Regards,[redacted]

We met with customer last week to review service items from the install which took place in 2013. The corrective work has been scheduled for completion.

The contract is clear. If you cancel outside of the 3 day right of rescission there is a 155 cancellation fee. The materials were obtained for this job and the project was cancelled outside the 3 day window. The deposit was refunded less the 15% fee assessed.

We have already walked the job, and we made notations of serviceable items. We marked those items onsite. When we went to schedule we were told we need to walk the site with the customer. That meeting is set for next Tuesday 7/15/14.
