Review: We purchased [redacted] laminate flooring through an insurance claim to replace wood flooring in a cooperative unit we own. We hired a licensed and insured contractor to install the new flooring along with silencer padding and all new sub flooring. After approximately a year, the floor began to separate, buckle and bubble. We filled out warranty paperwork at the Long Island Paneling location in [redacted] during the first week of January 2015. We were told the paperwork would be sent to corporate, and then onto [redacted] and that we would be contacted within a week with the next step of the process. After calling [redacted] for approximately two weeks of not hearing from anyone, I was told to contact corporate and speak to [redacted] who handles all warranty claims. From this point on, I called approximately 10-15 times attempting to find out when we would hear from [redacted] to have the floor inspected. I was told repeatedly by [redacted] that the claim was submitted, it should have been taken care of and he was going to follow up and get back to me. Not once during this time, did he ever call me back. I continually called until I finally heard from an [redacted] representative almost two months later. The floor was inspected by the [redacted] representative on April *, 2015. During this inspection I asked when he was contacted by LI Paneling. He showed me a date and time stamped email of March **, 2015. He was able to make an appointment with me for this inspection as quick as April *. This was proof that from the time of the original submission of the warranty paperwork in January and during the course of the next three months and over 15 or so phone calls of being told it was getting taken care of, it was not. After the floor inspection, I was told that a report would be complete and sent to [redacted] in no more than a week. I have since made multiple phone calls and left messages with my phone number in an attempt to find out the status or get a copy of this report. I have again heard nothing back from [redacted] at LI Paneling.Desired Settlement: I would like a copy immediately of the report from the [redacted] representatives inspection. This report is essential in that it will determine whether the flooring is going to be covered under the [redacted] warranty. We need to be able to move forward with repairs right away due to the fact that we have tenants in this unit.
