Long Island Skydiving

Review: I intended to purchase a gift certificate from Skydive Long Island. I accidentally purchased a gift certificate from the wrong business, Long Island Skydive. Their naming, website, and advertising on [redacted] is almost identical to Skydive Long Island, and very misleading. I spoke to someone about returning the unused gift certificate for a refund and they refused to accommodate.Desired Settlement: A refund for the price of the gift certificate.

Review: Recently, we have a reservation of skydiving for last Sunday at this business unit. We got phone call from them to confirm with us that we would attend the diving. However, when we drove long way there from Jersey, they claimed they would not allow us to dive that day because of strong wind. We could accept that since they put our safety the first place. But, last Sunday was my only day scheduled for diving since I am leaving US for quite a long time. Regarding we were unable to dive not due to our mistake, we were claiming our reservation fee back, which they refused to do. They claimed the company policy is that the reservation fee is non-refundable. We thought the policy is unfair and thus we make this complaint.Desired Settlement: Refund our reservation fee and change the company policy.
