We received your letter dated April 29th and are writing back in response regarding your commentsWe sincerely apologize for the confusion that we may have caused you and want make sure you have a complete explanation and a
pleasant experience In our restaurant
It is important that customers are fully aware of our pricing and we want to make sure it is clearly visible and adequately sizedAfter your letter and subsequent inspection we found some of the signage being worn, ragged, and in some cases not very clear to read due to cleaning materialsWe have now made sure we have placed new large clear and visible disclosure signage at the Point-of-Sale, Drive Up Window, Entry Doors, and at the Drive Up Menu BoardPlease note we have a 49C service charge as part of our regular standard product pricing (much like an automatic service gratuity applied in some dining locations) is assessed on all our customer sales regardless of how payment is made Including cash, checks, credit-debit cards, and gift cardsThe service charge amount is clearly displayed and visible to customersAgain, we are very sorry for not having fresh, newly -updated, and clear signage, it has now all been replaced and we thank you for taking the time to write
As permitted by state regulations and card brand rules businesses are permitted to offer discounts to customers to make payment by a particular means, much like when a gasoline station charges one price for payment with cards and a discount when paying with cashA discount to customers is an incentive to encourage customers to pay by cash, or gift card in order to automatically receive a lower price which is applied at the time of salePlease know the service fee we *** is a small flat rate amount that is a part of our regular standard product food pricing and was Implemented In lieu of increasing direct Individual menu prices on every item, We have found this as an effective way of keeping our overall product pricing lower to the customer,
Again, we are sorry for the confusion and would like to offer you a complete refund on your purchase and again sincerely apologize for the confusionWe have mailed to the above address a Long John Silver gift card refund for the full amount ($22) of your purchase

I have not received any gift card and only a broken promiseThis case is not closed
I had just gone back to the Long John Silvers and signage has not been updated and Mr Sergio Anaya has not been at the location in several weeks
Took a new picture of the same signage that has not been updated
