We used this service thru AHS for our dishwasher Luckily, no problem could be foundHowever, the dishwasher was not put back in proper alignment with the cabinets and this was not recognized until the next day We removed the screws on side of the unit and put the dishwasher in proper alignment with the other cabinets as originally installed and now have unsightly new holes that the technician made on the sides of the finished panels When addressed with Long Lane Home Services, we were told that we watched the technician put the cabinet into place and he put it where it should be and he told us he was aligning it properly I'd like it on record that the technician never mentioned he was not putting it back to its original position and it did go unnoticed until the next morning Had we noticed it was not going where it belonged originally, we would have strongly opposed to it as it must be in alignment with the cabinets on that side Very shotty customer service when speaking with the gentleman from business We were told the dishwasher never should have been installed where it was originally and he showed no concern for defacing of adjoining kitchen cabinetry We were told to buy wood putty, furniture crayon from Home Depot to fix screw holesAfter spending thousands of dollars on solid wood kitchen cabinets, this upsets us greatly and we are left without any options other than to pay for the repair to the adjoining structures ourselves I wonder how he would feel if his kitchen cabinets were misaligned and had holes in them

On 10/19/I went online & signed into my account to conduct the business of restoring my serviceAfter entering my information the website gave an error message "unable to verify" me and to call customer serviceOn 10/20/I contacted customer service over the phone and advised them of the instructions given via online & to determine how I should proceed going forwardThe representative kindly said they will be able to assist with verifying my account and set up restoration of my services over the phoneI was told how much it would be to.restore; in which I had no issue the restoration amountThe issue is I could not utilize the option to pay online which would not include an additional pay by phone feeWhile the representative was the phone I signed online and after accessing my online options the system would not move from the Account update pageI advised the rep of that issue and we decided to try the pay as a guest optionI entered the required acount informati

long lane came out through HSA warranty to fix a clog in our sewer linethey came out and could not fix itthey broke our sewer clean out cap to try to snake the drainthey used a foot snake and they did not find the stoppage and could not fixthis cost $to break the cap in addition to the $deductible for the HSA warrantythey advised our line would need to be hydro jetted, but they could not do thatthat must be the reason they don't advertise plumbing on there website, because they are not equip to fix the problemwe did not choose this company, the HSA warranty sent them outlong lane then had to call HSA to tell them they couldn't fix and needed a different company to come outlong lane advised they told HSA this was an emergency, but HSA did not have this as an emergency and Long Lane had no record of who they spoke withi am now on day without being able to use any of our plumbingi would not recommend their services to anyone

I have a child that handdcap who needs heat plus I have copd and heart problems and I apple for gas servies at my house that I jus moved in I agee I owe money but I cant pay a up front I ask to be put on a pay plan I can pay they will not accept my offer I get a check every month and my child need heat this weater because of my sickness I cant get out and get kerosen the smell mess with my breath I tryed to work a pay plan out but they will not work me please help me out there no one that paying gas bills in my town right now so it all on me like I said I owe the money but I jus cant oay up front I got cash maybe we can work a payplan out and I pay yhe other the follow month plase work with me my child life depents on me

Needed stove repaired. Initial visit by John (very professional) was timely, considering the company's 10am-6pm window. John returned for repairs a few days later, was in-and-out about 30 minutes. It's not standard procedure for an invoice to be provided under HSA warranty, but John was accommodating and e-mailed it to me. Great customer service!

They blamed it on HSA - HSA said approval was given right away. Really poor customer service!

Review: I contacted Long Lane for a simple cleaning of my oil heater, something we do yearly just to make sure it runs well for the winter. I was told it would be 129.00 for a routine cleaning. Long Lane charged (according to the receipt) 195.00 "for a routine service, replaced nozzle, checked systems, etc" it then lists the nozzle costs 19.50 (which is fine) AND THEN THERE IS A RANDOM CHARGE ON THE SIDE OF THE RECEIPT FOR 129.00. So, the totals dont even add up and when I called to get a quote for a cleaning, the guy said its 129.00 Then while he was here he said it would come to "two something" ok. so Im figuring around $200. still acceptable. THIS RECIEPT MAKES NO SENSE AND DOES NOT BREAK DOWN WHAT THE CHARGES ARE. Basically, they charged whatever they wanted, was vague about it on the invoice what exactly was done, and they hope you dont notice.Desired Settlement: I would like the service call charge applied to the total bill. Our invoice says the call was 195.00 yet we were quoted 129.00 over the phone. One of the prices should be deducted from the total charge. I have NEVER heard of the service call price not being credited to the entire bill.

Good Afternoon, We are responding to the service performed @ [redacted] Upon receiving the preventive maintance call [redacted] asked what the fee would be for a service call. As we explain to all of our customers , it would be 129.00 plus parts and labor as needed. [redacted] was pleased with that and gave us his information to come and service his oil furnace. Upon arrival and diagnosing the problems, ( which is what the 129.00 is for, finding the customers problems) again dealing with [redacted] , we showed him the massive amount of soot which was apparent and a nozzel which was majoraly clogged. We let him know what the extra cost would be, before we went further and he was pleased to do the work. When we finished the repair and maintance we asked him to look at what we removed ,,we clearley fulled a box with soot and carbon. [redacted] was satisfied paid for the repair and we considered this a satisfied customer. The next day , we received a e-mail from a [redacted] who stated the charges were too much and was going to put a stop payment on her check. We then called [redacted] and asked why he wasn't pleased, he replyed that he would take care of [redacted] and explain it to her. We are not sure but we don't believe the [redacted] who was our contact throughout the job wrote this letter to Revdex.com NOR DO WE KNOW WHY IT WAS WRITTEN,,,,,,Sincerely [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

I live at [redacted] and while you were dealing with [redacted] I AM HIS WIFE and thats why the complaint was written by me, [redacted]. I was unaware of the charges until later that night after you left my home. The receipt written makes no sense. There is no breakdown of the charges and you basically charge 129.00 to drive to my house (even though you charged us 195.00 on the receipt PLUS additional 100.00+ for what I have no idea. If your 129 (or 195 in our case) price doesn't include the cleaning WHATS THE POINT IN SAYING THATS WHAT YOU CHARGE. Our total bill was over 300.00. The heater was just cleaned a year ago and has not been used since, so all the extra soot that your charging for I think is a little exaggerated. Luckily for you my husband doesnt like confrontation and told you to go ahead and deposit the check and that he would take care of me. Clearly he misspoke. You quoted 129.00 for a service call plus parts and labor? Fine. Then dont get to my home and jack up the service call price to 195.00 AND THEN STILL CHARGE FOR THE PARTS AND LABOR. We should get a refund of the difference between the two service call prices. $66.00

Gentlemen, as was discussed the first response, we had clear communication with [redacted] only. We showed him what service was needed and( HE) ,the only home owner there at the time observed the amount of soot and carbon that needed to be removed. He thought our price was fair,and knew the condition was not exagerated, he agreed on the price given, which is detailed and performed the service. Service call Part and lobor plus tax as quoted. Non of this was discussed with [redacted]. because [redacted] made the decission to make repairs. thank you Long Lane

Gentlemen, Im not sure why it matters who Long Lane spoke to when at my home. I live here, I am [redacted] wife, and that check written to Long Lane comes from a shared bank account. Long Lane has STILL not addressed why they jacked up the service call price from 129 plus parts and labor to 195 plus parts and labor. Because of the soot you found? You know you are going to find soot cleaning a heater SO WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING A SERVICE CALL PRICE AT ALL? Do you just wing it when you get to everyones home and make prices up? For the record, our heater was cleaned a year ago (I still have the receipt if you need to see it). Its not like it has not been cleaned in years. Its time to get over the fact that you are not dealing with [redacted]. He was not happy with the price at the time, but the work had been completed and instead of starting an argument at OUR home [redacted] paid as requested. For the record, and I will happily submit a copy of this, the receipt written MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL. It is impossible to see any kind of breakdown on what exactly was done. It would be nice if you honored the price you quoted. Yes, you found soot when you got to my house. YOU CLEANED A HEATER. So, you charge the 129 for a little bit of soot and then 195 for a lot? WHat constitues a lot of soot? You were at my house for LESS THAN AN HOUR. According to [redacted], it was about 30 to 45 minutes. This was not an all day project. Regards,
