Terrible customer service.
We moved to Delaware in August so our water bill was delayed due to it being forwarded from our old address. Well it was a final notice even though we had no previous notices. We all know USPS isn’t reliable. Got the final notice on Friday when I was out of town and water was turned off on Tuesday when I got home. No phone call or email notices even though they had both. Talked with the customer service rep and they would not waive the $50 activation fee. Office manager wouldn’t talk to me as she made the rep call me back. Unfortunately they have a monopoly so I can’t switch.

  I had filed a complaint against Long Neck Water company, in Long Neck DE. They stepped up to the plate, when I advised them that I had done so.  They cancelled our final notice for the bill that we did not owe them. I electronically contacted you at that time, which was the same day I filed the complaint, and told you that they had done so.   Nonetheless their office manager just phoned me and said she had received notice of the complaint.  I’m not sure if it was already in the mail, but they have made good, and the complaint needs withdrawn please.   I no longer have the reference number that was given to me.  When I thought it was a done deal I shredded everything related to that bill.   [redacted]
