This email is in response to Complaint ID number [redacted] At this time [redacted] AND WINDOWS INC will absolve itself from this chimney problem by refunding the [redacted] ’s the charge to repoint the chimney See attached files including an email stating that the chimney work would be $ We will send out a check certified mail today for $ The chimney leaked before we worked at their house The chimney has continued to leak It is not the roof, nor the Flashing that is leaking, but the chimney itself We did have [redacted] look at the problem, and We are also putting the [redacted] ’s in touch with an expert chimney company , led by Fulzio C*** His number is [redacted] *** MrC [redacted] can detect and rectify the chimney with the [redacted] ’s or they can choose to move forward however and with whomever they choose Thank You Kindly Perry H [redacted] AND WINDOWSRevision: Correct amount refunded is $ Revision: Correct amount refunded is $

Dear Sirs,We installed James H [redacted] Siding as per our contract with this customer.? Sometime after the job was completed the customer had Miracle Home Improvements come and inspect her roof.? Miracle took pictures of some shingles that were damaged from nailing in our scaffolding, which is common practice.? ? ? Though we did repair the shingles with cement flashing, [redacted] asked us to change the shingles.? We agreed, explaining we need the overnight temps to be above degrees for a few days to allow us to work with the shingles ..( I believe it was in Jan or Feb).? ? [redacted] continued to call , and complain about things that were not involved or effected by our scope.? ? We tried to manage her the best we could, and made service calls.? ? When weather allowed we changed the damaged shingles with matching shingles, however GAF the manufacturer of the shingles ? actually changed the color a bit.? ? ? After spending most of the day changing shingles and inspecting the roof, the service team asked [redacted] if their were any other items.? She said No.? ? ? ? Not long after, Miracle Home Improvement returned to the house, got up on the roof, and during their inspection of nailing damaged some of the shingles we replaced.? This contractor then called my cell phone claiming to be the homeowners nephew, asking us to return to fix more shingles.? We are not a company that looks for drama, and we do our best to resolve any level of dissatisfaction.? ? With this customer we have made multiple service calls, and seem to be caught in some triangle with the customer, miracle home improvements.? ? ? If there is any legitimate issue with the siding install, we would be more then happy to correct it.? ? ? ? Any problems with her windows, or roof we would advise her to resolve with her roof or window company.? If there is anything the Revdex.com would like to advise us to do, we are very open .? Hello, As stated early , GIANT performed replacement of ALL damaged shingles Our lead service tech did a full inspection of that roof and there was NO damage IN the pictures the customer sent we can see the NEW shingles GIANT installed are broken, because Robert from MIRACLE attempted to lift the shingle to inspect how it was nailed and or to see the name of the color ( Robert was also claiming it was the wrong color.) When he lifted the shingle, he broke it Robert then called me on my cell phone claiming to be the nephew of the customer and asked us to come out for 4th time , to replace the newly broken shingle.We stand by all of our work, and try to service everyone to full satisfaction If there is a problem with our siding install we will gladly service it If robert from Mircacle damaged the shingles after we left, its on him to fix. The business has responded Please see below:Giant siding and windows executed a contract with *** *** and his wife *** *** to install new siding for $19,On the first day of work we collected a deposit check for $We finished the job within a couple of daysThe deposit
check bounced, and ** *** then explained to me he didn't have the money to pay for the jobAt that time, we had a lawyer write an agreement that ** ***, And *** *** would make a monthly payment of $until the total price of the job was paid in full** *** then continued to bounce checksHe failed to make a January payment, and failed to make his February paymentThough he did call for service in late January, due to cold weather we could not come out to until mid February Though ** *** did not have the money to pay his obligated amount to GIANT SIDING AND WINDOWS, nor did his credit score allow for any type of financing, he had the money to hire a rooferWe saw that the Roofer had taken down our siding panels in order to run the rubber membrance up the wall, (which is the correct way to install the membrane) however the roofer failed to re install the siding properlyBecause we installed Portsmouth shake siding, the idea of seams lining up improperly is fraudulent, and we offered to meet the roofer at the house to explain this issue had nothing to do with GIANTFurthermore, ** *** has Ice Damning all around his house, like most of Westchester and is getting leaking from the ice** *** is delinquent over days in the amount of $, and still owes $16,of the original $19,We have sent a notification and according to the agreement he signed he must pay the total balance of $within days** *** did threaten to shoot me with his " mm" pistol if he ever saw me near his propertyThough we did file a police report , we turned down the officers suggestion to have him arrested for aggravated assaultWe do plan on exercising all legal rights in pursuit of the balanceIn summary, ** ***s roof was leaking for yearsHe hired a roofing company who damaged our siding, and failed to re install it properlyHe is using ice daming and previous damage as a reason not to pay for the Siding we already installed for himOur offer to meet the roofer at the house with ** *** to explain where the damage/leak is coming from still stands, despite his failure to pay for the job
