Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
Most of what Ms [redacted] has claimed is  a complete fabrication. We have never refused their advice and have agreed to all repairs they have suggested and I have the invoices tho show that. No one ever tried to show me how to adjust my sprinkler system. I am very comfortable making changes and I did when required.  The contract called for quarterly sprinkler system check that only would happen after we requested several times.  She claims I overwatered but her sprinkler expert increased the number of days the system came on. Plus we have a rain sensor she installed . There are several other items in our contract that Ms [redacted] did not do or only after we reminded her.  I have confirmed that the dying grass that appeared after her last visit is not fungus.  As far as a long list of landscape companies, that list is 4 after 16 years. The first went out of business the second the owner showed up impaired, and the third was a great company but a key employee left and service suffered.  Ms [redacted]  can make all the excuses and accusations she wants and I challenge her to show me where I refused her professional advice.  She is arrogant and has never even looked that the issue with my lawn as far as I know.
Regards,
 [redacted]

We maintained the [redacted] yard for 3 years and during that period we tried to teach the [redacted] how to use their sprinkler controller to adjust the time and amount of water setting so they could change those setting from season to season so they did not over water their yard.  They refused...

to change the setting therefore creating a problem with fungus several times per year.  When [redacted] grass gets a fungus, that is caused from too much tap water mixed with warm days and cool nights, the grass turns yellow, when we treat the fungus the grass then turns brown and dies.  Once the grass dies in those areas the weeds start to grow and fill in the bare areas.  The [redacted] requested that we spray the weeds in their yard  and that is what we did.  Their grass was not damaged in any way, the weeds that we sprayed died, which was the desired result.   The [redacted] are now upset that we killed their weeds. I told them they did not have to give 30 days notice to cancel their contract because they would not take our professional advise and uphold their side of the contract by properly setting the sprinkler controller for the current weather conditions.  As stated on the contract we check their system throughout the year and report problems to them and it is up to them to decide if they want to have the problems fixed.  Setting the controller and repairing the sprinkler system is not covered in the landscape maintenance contract.  Those items are an extra charge and we can not perform those services unless the customer agrees to pay for them. We are just one company in a long list of landscape companies that the [redacted] have been through because they will not take the advice of the professionals that they hire.  I can not do anything to force them to take my advice, all I can do is suggest remedies to their problems.  Thank you, Lisa L[redacted]

This is pointless. We were available almost any day they wanted to check the system.  The was not caused by overwatering as the sprinkler expert increased the watering his last visit.  This is dead grass and confirmed by another landscaper. I doubt any further discussion here will help.  No resolution seems possible thru the Revdex.com.

Mrs. [redacted] never attempted to sway Longhorn's work crew as she never spoke with them.  All of her conversations were with either Lisa or her staff person that answers the phone at their main number.  Longhorn showed up four times over 30 days to work on the project.  We did ask for clarification many times, and that may be what Ms. [redacted] is referring to.  No payment has been received.  We have been told many many times the check is in the mail,  but it has never been received.  Ms. [redacted] promises a lot, but seldom if ever follows through. Ms. [redacted] and Longhorn have been given a deadline of Thursday March2, 2017  for payment to be received or suit will be filed against them on Friday March 3, 2017.

Changing the settings on your sprinkler controller is not a repair, it is something the homeowner has to do on a monthly, weekly and sometimes daily basis with our weather conditions.  We were never able to show the [redacted] how to properly set the sprinkler because they said they knew how to do it and didn't need instructions.  As homeowners they may have felt that they made the necessary changes but from the condition of their yard you can see that they did not.  We were only able to check the sprinklers when the S[redacted]s's were home and would let us into the garage, that is where the sprinkler controller is located.  We made an appointments to check the sprinkler and checked it every time they would ask.  A rain sensor does not prevent you from over watering, it shut the sprinkler off for a brief period, after it rains, so if the sprinklers run at 5 AM then it starts raining at 9 AM then you have over watered.  I am not making accusation, and I have been to their house.  You can go to the [redacted] house and see the dead areas are weeds, not grass and that he does already have a fungus started in the grass as well as on some of the plants.   I am sorry Dr. S[redacted] mistakes my confidence and professional knowledge as arrogance.  Just because he doesn't agree with me doesn't mean what I have said isn't true, he is entitled to his opinion, but facts are facts.Thank you, Lisa L[redacted]
