When [redacted] came to the barn, she gave a very short noticeAlso, we were going through days of constant rain and because of that, building a new turn out or doing any work outside with electrical tools would be unsafe and unproductive, as well as draining the arenaWith the stall not being ready, we explained to her our unexpected situation and she expressed that it was okay, and she was not concerned at allShe was not promised a new paddock built for her; she was told she could use the arena for turnoutDue to the rain, she requested to take over the care of her new horse so she could have a chance to bond with it, and with that, she took over the feeding and cleaning out the stalls from the beginningAny care that she did not find suitable for her horse then came down to her own faultThe stalls do not have concrete flooringThere is a foundation, then a few feet of dirt, and then the shavings on topThe stalls were intentionally built to keep the horses from standing on concreteWe have had the United States Polo Association, which is the governing association of polo, come out to our barn multiple times and they have always been very pleased with the care of our horses because we do go above and beyond for themWhen she came to board, we had her sign a contract, which states that [redacted] was required to give a 30-day written notice of leaving, which she did notSo with that, she forfeited her right to get any money back and if this goes to court, she must pay off the court costs and attorney fees of both parties because she did breach her contractShe has been informed multiple times that she will not be getting her money back and about the clauses in the contractWe have returned everything she left at the barn and have stopped all communication with her because we have said informed her of it all

I have documented proof that *** informed me on SATURDAY not THURSDAY about her horse’s arrivalWhen she informed me, she told me the horse was coming the next day, not on TuesdayThen suddenly the arrival of her horse changed to TuesdayWhen she requested me to bring her new shavings, I brought her bags of shavings (which is more than what we usually use) so she could have plenty and she chose to only use of the bagsAll of that care was taken over by her, and all of the decisions about the shavings in the stalls were up to herYes, polo horses come with a bad reputation, but we have multiple United States Polo Association representatives that can confirm that our horses receive some of the best care in the country and we have one of the nicest facilities in the countryOn top of that, animal control has commented on the fact that our horses are happy, healthy, and very well taken care ofWe do have a horse that bites, we will not deny that, but that is how he came and it is part of his personalityWith his age, trying to get him to stop has been unsuccessful but that has not made us stop tryingWe do take the proper safety precautions when using him

When [redacted] came to the barn, she gave a very short notice. Also, we were going through days of constant rain and because of that, building a new turn out or doing any work outside with electrical tools would be unsafe and unproductive, as well as draining the arena. With the stall not being ready,...

we explained to her our unexpected situation and she expressed that it was okay, and she was not concerned at all. She was not promised a new paddock built for her; she was told she could use the arena for turnout. Due to the rain, she requested to take over the care of her new horse so she could have a chance to bond with it, and with that, she took over the feeding and cleaning out the stalls from the beginning. Any care that she did not find suitable for her horse then came down to her own fault. The stalls do not have concrete flooring. There is a foundation, then a few feet of dirt, and then the shavings on top. The stalls were intentionally built to keep the horses from standing on concrete. We have had the United States Polo Association, which is the governing association of polo, come out to our barn multiple times and they have always been very pleased with the care of our horses because we do go above and beyond for them. When she came to board, we had her sign a contract, which states that [redacted] was required to give a 30-day written notice of leaving, which she did not. So with that, she forfeited her right to get any money back and if this goes to court, she must pay off the court costs and attorney fees of both parties because she did breach her contract. She has been informed multiple times that she will not be getting her money back and about the clauses in the contract. We have returned everything she left at the barn and have stopped all communication with her because we have said informed her of it all.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted]
[redacted] is AGAIN lying.  She also wanted to buy my horses blankets.  She had them for 2 months and I called continually and the response was always the same.  "As soon as I get paid".....EVERY TIME.  Then she said she mailed it and it never came.  She lied.  Finally, I had to call again and again and some kid brought them back to me.  She also told me I could buy items needed for the barn, like buckets to put the manure because they were all full and I had no place to put it.  She said I would get reimbursed, but the owner said no because he didn't OK it.  It's a goat rodeo over there.  Yes, I originally said it was Saturday, but there was a huge rain storm and the people couldn't get here.  BUT......I DID tell [redacted] on Thursday that we were coming Tuesday.  And Yes, she gave me shavings and was mad about it.  And yes, I took over his care......He was NOT being cared for by HER!  Then I had my trainer with her mother come over and look at the place.  They were appalled and my trainer said we needed to get him out of there right away!  They will be happy to be witnesses for me.  I am not going to take this to court, but I am not going to take down this complaint either.....unless they want to refund me.  [redacted] is an out and out liar.
