I am rejecting this response because:
Todd *** conveniently neglected to state that we were either given a non functioning pager or that no one ever sent a message to itAlso we clearly told the hostess that we would be at the bar which we wereSecondly no one swore at Todd or any member of his staffI told him it was ridiculous that they gave us a non working pager and that he reacted angrily for being called on it Todd's word is invalid and he deliberately exaggerated to make himself sound betterTodd has anger management issues which he should seek help with No one from Longhorn Corporate has contacted me by email but I was told that someone would

I appreciate the opportunity to explain the event that occurred this past Mother's Day 5-24-here at the Bismarck LongHorn Steakhouse location in which I am the Managing Partner and the manager Mr*** *** is referring to in his complaint on customer serviceOn the evening of 5-24-we
were full when Mr*** had arrived at our restaurant in which there were more than individuals and approximately parties waiting for tables to leave that eveningMr*** and his party was in fact quoted twenty minutes for a wait in which we attempted to notify him and his party several times via our messaging system in which we give our guest a piece of wireless pager that lights up when we have a table ready for the partyWE attempted to notify Mr*** and his party but there was no response so our Host then called out their name and there was also no response to thatOur host then notified me there was no response to Mr***'s party pager so I then also called their name (in which I do have a louder talking voice that carries), there was no response so I then went outside and attempted to call their name as wellAfter some time we returned Mr***'s party to the waiting list in case they would returnApproximately minutes later our Host was approached by a member of Mr***'s party and explained to our host that they had been waiting past their quote time and our host then called me to the door in which I explained to her that we had attempted to call their party via our paging system as well as calling their nameI apologized and explained to her that their pager may have malfunctioned and I was very sorry for their wait but they would be the next satI immediately had a table cleaned for them and proceeded to get Mr***'s party from the bar to seat themI immediately apologized for their pager malfunctioning and tried to explain to Mr*** and the elderly lady in the party that we did attempt to call their name as well as go outside to see if they were out thereMr*** and the elderly lady were clearly very upset and were using profantity towards me and my team members as I was seating themAs I was seating Mr*** he told me this is "f#ing ridiculous and your a incompetent as", I simply responded to him that I was aware of our mistake in the faulty equipment but we would not be able to help him unless he refrained from swearing at me and my team members or I would have to ask him to leaveHe then got immediately quietI then found the server that would be taking care of Mr***'s party and notified her of the situation and to offer them a free appetizer for going over their quoted wait time in which they did utilizeTheir server reported no other issues with their visit at our restaurantI did monitor Mr***'s table to ensure they were taking care of and there were no more issues with their time here at our restaurantI have been manager in the restaurant business and in this community for nearly twenty years and have had experiences in which there was a failure on our part and have had guests swear at me and my staffI have always responded the same way, asking our guest to refrain from the use of foul language towards our team as well as myselfI feel awful that this experience happened and would have been able to do more for Mr*** and his party if the use of foul language had not continuedAs I stated above we did by the table a free appetizer as well My Director of Operations Danielle Schneske has tried numerous time to reach out to Mr*** as well as our Guest Relations team but from what I understand there has been no replyI would also be willing to reach out to Mr*** to offer an apology for his experienceSincerely, Todd *** ~ Managing Partner #*** *** *** *** Bismarck, ND p###-###-####, f#-###-####
