Still has not returned all the parts he had refunded

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: All parts have been returned, what parts are they talking about? Would a business refund someone without returning parts to themJust saying I need parts that have not been returned is not valid, I would like some paper work stating this that I signed (we both know does not exist)I would like my service fees back for services that were not provided forThis company sound more like politicians then service workers, coming up with statements only makes them look disparate and a little foolish
Regards,
*** ***

Basically a letter of inaccuracies, mistruths, and we are wary of an attempted scam Unfortunately we have these types of verbally abusive customers from time to time and flag them for our network Mr*** dropped off a *** riding lawn tractor at our service dock on April 7,
Mr*** noted on the service request (we have a signed copy) for Longs Peak to check on the machine not going forward and it “may be intermittent” Not that he hit an extension cord and the drive belt came off He also asked for the lower hood bracket to be replaced depending on cost and asked for an annual serviceThe Service Request form states there is a minimum charge of $for all riding mowers Mr*** signed the form on April 7th Our Senior Consumer Equipment technician visually check the unit and found that it has damage to the steering system, drive system, hood hinge, and the mower deck support hardware was missing Mr*** was notified by telephone on April 14th at 3:PM (not two weeks later as falsely claimed) of the worst-case scenario for cost should he decide to authorize all repairs At that time, Longs Peak was informed by Mr*** that he would think about repairs The technician installed the mower deck support hardware so the deck would not drag on the ground On April 15th at 9:AM, Mr*** called Longs Peak and said he would make his own repairs and would we get the parts for him On April 17th (still not the two weeks as claimed), Mr*** picked up his *** and the requested parts At this time Mr*** paid for the requested parts and a labor bill of $(not the $175, Mr*** claims and wants refunded) In addition, he did not pay the $minimum charge as he agreed to pay on the on the Service Request Form Since Longs Peak did not charge Mr*** $in labor as he claims and wants refunded, this is starting to sound like an attempted scam (he was charged only $99.55) Mr*** returned what he assessed were unneeded parts (one was not returned) and on May 5th, Longs Peak refunded the complete amount (including the amount for the missing part).I doubt our technicians take any “brakes” and his assertion of $for an hour’s worth of work, discounts the estimates for any repairs other than the drive belt As he notes, he is a homeowner with no experience but “knows” the tie rods are not bent and we assume he installed the drive belt on the main pulley and not reseated on a spindle In addition, Mr*** when he returned the parts for credit confronted the Technician and called him a crook, an action we view as unacceptable verbal abuse

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:It is amazing how things change to sound like you are doing the right thing. They charged me $175, after my complaining they then lowered the bill to $98, I guess they have a short memory of what they charge for there service. I talked to the tech who did the inspection and he stated that he took 15min to look under the deck with a flashlight and noticed the drive belt had rub spots on it, indicating that the belt had been slipping. From that he surmised that belt, spindle's, etc needed replacement. After talking to other lawnmower repair shops all belts show rubs on them as the nature of mowing will cause items to get under the deck that cause the belts to stick "ALL BELTS WILL SHOW RUBS IN THEM OVER TIME". The mentioned he had nothing to do with hours charged that was up to the front office. The main point is I was told $950 of repairs were needed to get this mower running when they were not. I bought all the parts recommended and NONE of them were NEEDED. When I went back to confront them (Chuck manager) he and the tech said these were not needed but recommended and that I was informed incorrectly of the situation from RON the service writer who handled me, and they were going to fix that. When I told the tech that I did all the repairs he had listed on the invoice in 45 min. he told me was very condescending of me and told me that I was a super mechanic and could not expect him to match my talent. When I told him I would show him how I did the repairs to help him out he said he was being facieses and walk away "very unprofessional". 1. They told me I "NEEDED" repairs that were not needed and later changed there story. 2. Way overcharged for there labor, 7.5 hrs for about 1hr work.3. They never put any parts on the mower, all the old parts pins and all are still on the machine. It is amazing how they can slant the truth to suit themselves and feed like they are doing the right thing. I only want my service payment back since no service was given only false information.[redacted]They never even discussed the service I
